It’s a time when we come together to conclude our Club year and to honor the women
we have selected to receive the fruits of our labor and to commit to the Big Goal of
investing in the dreams of women and girls through access to education. It is an
evening to see how lives are transformed and empowered by our programs. It is a joy
to meet these celebrated women and to wish them well in their endeavors and look
forward to hearing that we played a part in their success.

Also as a region finalist, OUR club’s entry was advanced to federation-level judging.
The Soroptimist Board of Directors has reviewed the region finalists and has selected
the top entry in each of the four categories. The four federation finalists will be
announced during the Soroptimists Stars in Action Lunch on July 21.
I will be there, joined by Eileen Conner, Linda Kinslow and Patti Cullen to represent
YOU! The description of YOUR participation in the Club Survey, YOUR attendance
at the Open Forums where you shared ideas, gave suggestions and how we executed
on those ideas was the focus for our Membership Category of these Awards.
We hope you will join us again for the Open Forums, June 14 and 15. See inside for
details.
