Tough Race Between Top Two Students in Class of 2015
by Devon Pierce and Morgan Winering
A race for
valedictorian is in
place between Anna
Convery and Joe Yunga. Nobody knows
who will end up with
the title, but in the
mean time, getting to
know these two was
quite an experience. When Anna was
asked who her inspiration is, she said her
sister, Elyse. Anna
has been involved in
a plethora of activities
at RHS. These extracurricular activities
include drama club,
The Marching Rams,
indoor color guard,
NHS, Student Council, FEA, Ramify and
Interact.
Her favorite
memory at RHS was
leading The Marching Rams to a third
place victory with a
record breaking score
at U.S. Bands National
Championship in 2014.
Anna says she will miss
her teachers and other
friends who have given
her the advice and opportunities to succeed.
Her advice to
all underclassmen in
high school is to get
involved in as much as
possible and make the
most of every second. After high
school, Anna plans on
going to The University
of Central Florida for
Theater Studies.
Also competing for #1 in the class
is Joe Yunga. Joe is
also involved in many

Joe says
if he could be any
superhero it would
be Flash because of
his super speed. His
advice to underclassmen is to always

extracurricular activities such as cross
country, track and

Council, police explorers, and JROTC. When asked what
teacher helped him
succeed the most, he
said it would have
to be Mr.Stellwag.
“He has motivated
me in the athletic
and academic field
to always do my
best. He challenged
me academically in
his honors class with
many difficult essays
that made me a better writer.”
Joe’s best
memory of RHS was
