Twyford waterless systems
Urine passes through the replaceable Twyford
waterless system OdourwiseTM cartridge, where
the malodour counteractant tackles smells
immediately. Friendly bacteria in the cartridge
break down the uric salts, preventing the build-ups
that cause blockages and as there’s no water,
there’s no lime scale build-up either. The valve
also acts as a physical barrier to prevent odours
coming back through the bowl. With no odours,
no blockages and no flooding, it creates
a healthier, more hygienic and pleasant
environment for the user, while saving water
and money throughout the system.

Solving common urinal problems
Standard urinals - flushing, typically on 9 litres every 15 minutes, (which adds up to an astonishing 315,000 litres a year for a single
urinal) - waste money as well as water. They are also prone to poor hygiene, blockages and flooding, leading to high maintenance costs.
The OdourwiseTM waterless system provides a complete easy to install and use solution to all these common problems.

Prevents blockages and
flooding most blockages are caused by a build up of
uric acid and lime scale. The cartridge based
waterless system eradicates these build-ups
and thus reduces the potential for flooding and the need for costly maintenance.
Neutralises urinal odours -
Improves hygiene -
unpleasant odours are attacked on two fronts,
with a malodour counteractant in the cartridge
neutralising smells above the urinal bowl and
the system’s waste housing acts as a seal
against odours from the pipe work below.
The cartridge is replaced every 3 months
to ensure continuing freshness, hygiene
and odour-free operation.
standard urinals are a breeding ground for
germs, but the non return valve housing on
our waterless systems prevents germs and
bacteria from escaping into the room around
the urinal. Hygiene is further enhanced by use
of the systems’ cleaning and maintenance
products. On average, our waterless systems
