level. Our comprehensive summer programming includes both
on-ice and off-ice options to help players of every age and level
gain experience, improve their skills, and increase strength,
endurance, and overall performance.
• On the ice — well known skating professionals and former high level competitors, such as Ty Hennes and Max Ivanov will help players improve their skills.
• Off the ice — the UPMC Sports Performance program is under the guidance of former Penguin forward Gary Roberts in collaboration with well-known strength and conditioning coach, Lorne Goldenberg.
Every player can find a program that matches their schedule,
and discounts are available for players who enroll in both
on-ice and off-ice programs.

About the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex
The UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is the primary practice
and training facility for the Pittsburgh Penguins, as well as a
comprehensive outpatient facility for UPMC Sports Medicine.
This first-of-its-kind facility in the Pittsburgh region is a true
partnership between two world-class organizations.
Everything about the facility is dedicated to treating, training,
and inspiring athletes at every level.
