CASTLE TREASURE HUNT
Spend time exploring the beautiful grounds whilst
hunting for puzzles to complete. Teams will be
presented with a map and answer booklet to plot
their way round. Aim of the hunt is to locate specified
locations and complete tasks along the way. Good old
fashion fun and teams will have to combine all their
general knowledge to complete.
TREBUCHET BUILDING
The trebuchet was the largest and most prolific siege
weapon of medieval castle warfare and he’s your
chance to build one within the grounds of Peckforton Castle. Battling head to head the group must
follow a set of instructions to build a working 7ft
Trebuchet, co-operation, communication
and logical thinking will be essential to
complete this task. Once built the groups will
fire footballs and water balloons at a set target.
To score valuable points.
CHOCOLATE CHALLENGE
A taster in the fine are of chocolate
making! A tasty task that challenges you
and your team to make your very own box
of chocolates. Provided with a variety of
ingredients and materials, your team must
design and create your personal chocolate
box……and even better still....You get to
eat them too!!!

CASTLE PUZZLE MAZE
Based on TV shows such as Fort Boyard and
The Crystal Maze this team building activity
incorporates challenging tasks and puzzles to
complete against the clock. Requires teams to
communicate, co-operate and think logically
to solve. This is a perfect addition to any
conference or activity day with fun had by all.
LASER CLAY SHOOTING
Laser Clay Shooting is very much like a
traditional clay pigeon shoot, but with laser
beams, no live ammo or sore shoulders. Its
50% Lord of the Manor and 50% Star wars
but 100% fun! Clays will be fired into the air
with clients aiming to hit them to score
points. Fantastic for large groups and can
be used in a team format also.
CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING
(Available at Nunsmere Only)
Try your hand at the art of clay pigeon shooting.
This Country pursuit requires you to fire
cartridges at clay ‘pigeons’ as they are launched in
the air. Steady your hand, keep your eyes on the
prize and feel the buzz as you pull the trigger.
You will be instructed by our specialist team
from the Bolesworth Estate, this is an outdoor
activity filled with adrenaline, fun and excitement.

DUCK HERDING
AS SEEN ON REAL HOUSEWIVES
OF CHESHIRE!
Duck Herding is packed with fun and is based on
the ability of individuals to control not only themselves
and a shepherds crook but a sheep dog!! They say never
work with animals but in the case of Duck Herding, we disagree!
Perfect for corporate entertaining and team building events. Once
briefed and a demo from our professional duck herder, its left to the
individuals to steer the ducks around the assault course and
back to their pen!

ROLLER BALL &
STOMP ROCKETS
An ideal option for interacting teamwork
and/or icebreaker to any conference. By
using a collective set of equipment, teams
are to build a structure that a golf ball
shall roll at its slowest to end up within
the toilet seat at the end. Bonus seconds
available for closing the toilet seat as golf
ball enters, longest time wins. Once all
teams have completed and raced they will
do battle in our Stomp Rocket finale, firing
weapons of no destruction to earn bonus
points and be crowned winners.
FALCONRY
Falconry has for many centuries been
regarded as the sport of Kings. Why not
indulge in a chance to don a gauntlet and
relish the opportunity to handle and fly
some birds of prey for yourself.
Accompanied by a running commentary
from our professional falconers, the
guests are in the thick of it and do all the
flying for themselves, experience the
wonder of the long graceful glide of an
owl coming in to land on your gloved hand.

AIR RIFLE SHOOTING
You can’t beat a good shootout!
You will receive one to one tuition on how
to use our recurve bows and .22 air rifles,
followed by a head to head competition to
see who can score gold.
With a large array of metal rifle targets to
aim for you will be spoilt for choice.
CAKE DECORATING
Ever though cake decorating is too hard? Why
not try it for yourself with tuition by an award
winning cake designer and baker from Baked in
Bunbury. Based at the foot of the Castle, we
incorporate different techniques, skills and themes
to match the industry the delegates are in, or to
specific projects they may be working on. Not only is
this a great team activity with fun and challenging tasks,
but you get to eat your cake at the end of it!!
AXE THROWING
Find your inner warrior on this Axe Throwing activity. We
encourage your war cries as you launch your axe towards
the target, hit the target as many times as you can under the
guidance of our instructors and remember it’s all about
technique not strength. We will score your rounds to make
your day that little more competitive and fun!

NINJA WARRIOR ASSAULT COURSE

THE VAULT ‘LASER MAZE’
Have you always wanted to be like Tom Cruise
on your own Mission Impossible? Well this is
your chance!
The mission objective is simple; retrieve a giant gem
and return it to its rightful owner. To accomplish
this mission players must enter the museum-like,
private and highly secured room. Which is protected
by a Laser Security System. After navigating the
intricate web of security lasers blindfolded the team
must work together to secure the gem, its against
the clock so no holding back.
SEGWAYS
Try your hand at our on road Segway X2’s. These new two
wheeled vehicles have become increasingly popular and now its
your chanceto experience this adventure. You will receive one
to one tuition on how to handle your Segway and negotiate your
way around a designated woodland track, you will then race
off against the clock around our track with time penalties
for every cone hit!
MOBILE ZIP LINE
You can reach speeds of up to 60 Km/hr as you zip down
this fantastic experience. The Zip line is 55m long and has
an automatic braking system that slows the rider safely
while they are in the air. This allows us to have a second
‘Wow’ factor by positioning an inflatable wall just after the
braking point. The Rider thinks they are going to hit the wall but
of course never does! Teams will work together to score points
against targets on the floor as they whiz down the line.

BUSH CRAFT
Corporate team building activity with a difference! An
opportunity for your organisation to put your teams
to the test by really getting back to basics, learning
Bush-Craft skills within the beautiful Peckforton
Castle grounds. Bush-Craft is a long term extension
of survival skills. Made ever more popular by Ray
Mears and Bear Grylls. Your teams will compete
against each other in various skills including fire making,
shelter building, tool carving, rope and twine making,
foraging and many more.
RAFT BUILDING AND WATER ACTIVITIES
(NUNSMERE ONLY)
Raft building is a great activity for work colleagues or any group. It involves teams of people
building rafts, from logs and barrels. The rafts come in all shapes and sizes, and it's only your
imagination or creativity which limits what can be built.
When you have completed your raft it's time to take to the water. Raft building is great fun and
can be used to develop interpersonal skills, and team work, or just having fun!
