Limited Lifetime Warranty
Your RUSH warranty is honored worldwide at participating authorized RUSH dealers. RUSH Racing
Products limited lifetime warranty is valid only to the original purchaser of the product and cannot be
transferred to any successor owner or other party. This warranty is limited to defects in materials and
workmanship, it does not include labor or shipping. Discoloration is not covered under this warranty
unless proof of proper installation and tuning are provided, the RUSH warranty dept. must be satisfied
with the supporting documents.
The following steps are required to process a warranty claim.
1) Contact your local RUSH authorized dealer or point of purchase, if you do not have a local
dealer then contact the RUSH warranty dept. direct at 800-362-1701 or at
[email protected].
2)Take the defective product to your local authorized dealer for inspection, they will contact the
RUSH warranty dept. and take care of the warranty process for you.
3) If you choose to deal with the RUSH warranty dept. direct, you must provide proof of
purchase and provide pictures identifying the warranty issue.
4) Once it has been determined that it could possibly be a manufacturers defect (final
determination will come after a closer inspection at the factory) and not a problem caused by
improper installation, tampering, neglect, abuse, accident or the customers preference to sound and
style or any other non manufacturer related problem, an RGA # will be issued.
5) After the RGA # has been issued you can ship the product in question to Warranty Dept. RUSH
Racing Products, 2900 E 83rd Pl. Merrillville, IN. 46410 for final inspection and evaluation.
As a company that rides, RUSH understands the need to take advantage of every day you can ride.
With that being said, if you choose not to send the product back until you have a replacement, then
you must provide RUSH with a valid credit card number to hold until the product in question is
returned. If you fail to return the product in question within 15 days, your credit card will be charged
for the full retail price of the replacement product plus shipping.
6) When returning products to RUSH, please take care in packaging the product so that it will
arrive in good condition, because the condition it is received in will determine the outcome of the
inspection and shipping damage may void your claims.
7) Once a determination has been made that the product in question is in fact defective, then a
replacement product will be shipped via regular ground. If the customer needs the shipping process
to be expedited, you may choose to pay the additional fee for this service. RUSH Racing Products is
responsible only for regular shipping service.
8) If it is determined that the product in question is not defective and the cause is other than a
manufacturer’s defect, the product will be returned to the customer at their expense accompanied
with a letter of explanation. The ruling of the warranty dept. will be considered complete and final.
9) RUSH Racing Products’ responsibility is limited to the replacement of only the defective part or
component, and has no obligation to any other expense incurred by the consumer as related to this
problem.

ceramic coatings to a whole new level by coating both the inside and outside of our head
pipes; this reduces the temperature by several hundred degrees, resulting in a significant
reduction in the amount of heat that is transmitted to the rider.
RUSH was the first in the industry to offer interchangeable baffles designed for specific
performance and sound levels. This feature is huge for the motorcycle owner because it
allows them to change the sound and performance without purchasing another new set of
mufflers. We have taken this philosophy into the production of our full systems allowing
for interchangeable baffles here as well.
It is our intent to deliver on the needs of the motorcyclist by bringing a variety of

Touring Motorcycle Mufflers with
Catalyst Equipped Head Pipes.
Since the introduction of the catalytic converter to the motorcycle exhaust
system, the temperatures in the exhaust have been steadily increasing.
With the placement of the catalytic converter into the head pipe the
temperatures have not only increased in the factory head pipes, the heat
has permeated into the muffler and the motor itself. These temperatures
have created a number of problems with discoloration of the mufflers,
uncomfortable riding conditions, and in extreme cases, rider burns and
engine problems.
RUSH Racing Products prides itself with being on the cutting edge of
technology and has worked diligently to offer a resolution to some of these
problems. For example we have developed a muffler configuration that
helps to reduce the temperatures passing thru the muffler. This
configuration is designed specifically for the 2010 through 2016 model
years. In addition, RUSH Racing Products was the first in the industry to
develop a ceramic coated inside and outside head pipe. RUSH
ceramic coated head pipes have been tested extensively since their
introduction in 2007 by motorcycle dealers and independent riders from all
corners of the USA and the results have been beyond impressive. We have
had results reported to us that show up to a 600 degree heat reduction over
the stock exhaust system.
If you are tired of sitting on what feels like a wood burning stove, then you

High Output Performance Pipes
RUSH’s High Output system will produce more horsepower and torque than any other conventional true dual
through increased exhaust scavenging and fully ceramic coating the inside and outside of the head pipes. The
7017HO & 7117HO systems fit ‘09-’16 model touring Harley motorcycles and ‘09-’16 Harley trikes. In order to
install this system on a trike you will need to purchase a TRKIT. This system features either a show quality black
or chrome finish, ceramic coating inside and outside, heat shields that wrap over half way around the head pipes,
and includes all of the mounting hardware.

require a different front heatshield to accommodate the thicker lever, part# 7017HOHSBSE or 7117HOHSBSE.

RUSH Economy Line
RUSH now offers an economical replacement head pipe for your motorcycle that reuses your
stock heat shields and muffler from your motorcycle’s stock exhaust. You are now able to
receive the benefit of RUSH head pipes without a lot of out of pocket expense. The REC17 is a
2:1:2 head pipe that uses your OEM heat shields, cross over pipe, and muffler.

WRATH is a 3 stepped 2 into 1 header system that goes from 1.75” at the jug to 1.875” to
2.00” to a 2.50” collector for the “S” model for scavenging to the baffle size of your
choice. This system is perfect for those with big motor builds, 10.5:1 compression, and
bikes with forced air induction. WRATH is designed to sound better, make more power,
produce more torque, and out-perform any other conventional 2 into 1 in the market.
WRATH is designed to accept up to a 3” diameter baffle with RUSH’s 4” mufflers for
maximum flow and performance. This performance 2 into 1 system comes in either
chrome or black finishes with a heat shield that wraps over half of the way around its
equal length head pipes. All of RUSH’s full systems are ceramic coated inside and
outside to provide you with a cooler ride and better performance.

These torque cones create a venturi from the back pressure. The back pressure is increased at low speeds
resulting in increased low RPM power and torque. At high speeds it increases exhaust velocity, which draws
the gases down from the exhaust ports more rapidly, allowing your engine to perform more efficiently.
