Skating Rink Rules
ŸSocks MUST be worn. Do not wear long coats, long scarves or dangley jewellery.
ŸChildren under 6 must be accompanied by an adult
ŸPlease skate in a anti clockwise direction around the rink. Do not skate across the middle. Do
not go back against the flow of skaters
ŸNo smoking, alcohol, food or drink within the rink site. Do not use mobile phones/ cameras on
the rink. Please place any rubbish in the bins provided.
ŸIf anyone has any medical condition that may be affected by skating, please advice the skate
collection team.
ŸSkates must be worn only on the rubber matted areas or on the skating surface.
ŸPlease do not sit or climb over the skating rink barriers.
ŸIf you notice any dangerous behaviour or someone not complying with the rink rules, notify a
rink steward immediately.
ŸAbusive or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in immediate exclusion from
the rink.
ŸIf you are hurt or see anyone injured, notify a steward immediately.
ŸA first aid station is located in the rink marquees.
ŸRink staff are provided for your safety and you must follow their instructions at all times.
ŸAll users of the skating rink, skate at their own risk.
ŸItems left at the skate counter are left at the owners risk.
Top Tips
ŸIf you fall, try to fall forwards. Bring your hands off the skating surface. To get up bring one leg
up, both hands on your knee to push yourself up. Do not crawl to the side barriers. If you cannot
get up - Alert a rink steward.
ŸBe aware of your limits and do not exceed them. If you need help - ask a steward.
ŸPlease wear warm clothing.
ŸEnsure that your skate clips are tight and the boot is offering good support to your ankle
ŸDo not take off your shoes until you get to the skate counter. Do not put your skates on until you
reach your seat.

and Patrons skate at their own risk.
