Presbyteral Ordination Pray Request
As we prepare for the Presbyteral Ordination of The
Reverend Ryan Ravis, the entire Church of Greensburg
is invited to join in prayer. We invite you to join with
many others, throughout the diocese, in praying for
Ryan in the days leading to his ordination for service in
the Diocese of Greensburg.
PRAYER FOR PRESBYTERATE ORDINATION
God our Father, your Son has set an example
that is to be imitated by our brother.
By grace he is to serve Christ the great
Teacher, Priest, and Shepherd.
We ask you to pour out your Holy Spirit upon
Ryan Ravis,
chosen for the order of the presbyterate.
May he preach the Gospel worthily and wisely,
celebrate the sacraments faithfully and reverently,
and pray without ceasing.
Bless, sanctify, and consecrate this man
whom you have chosen and called to Holy Orders.
Through the Holy Spirit make his life worthy
of the ministry he celebrates.
We ask this through Jesus Christ,
our Great High Priest and Lord. Amen.
With Ecclesiastical Approval
