Terms and Conditions
attire:
Blue jeans/denim of any color is not allowed. This rule is strictly enforced and
any guests wearing this attire will not be allowed to attend.
payment and deposit:
A ten percent (10%) non-refundable deposit in the form of check or money order must be received
upon execution of the banquet/event at Southern Hill Plantation Club. A credit card will need to be
received upon execution of the banquet/event contract as deposit of final payment. The final payment
due under banquet/event contract must be paid five business days prior to the event.
final count:
Menus are to be finalized two (2) weeks prior to your event. A final guarantee of attendees is due
seven (7) days prior to arrival. When offering a choice of entrées, pre-counts are required seven (7)
days prior to your event. You will be charged for the guaranteed number of
guests attending and extra guests over the final guaranteed number.
cancellation:
Cancellation of your event sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled date will result in forfeiture of ten
percent (10%) of the deposit. Cancellation of your event forty five (45) to sixty (60) days prior to the
scheduled date will result in the forfeiture of half of the total estimated food and beverage revenue, half
the room and tax revenue, and the entire deposit. Cancellation of your event within thirty (30) days of
your scheduled date will result in forfeiture of the total estimated food and beverage revenue,
total estimated room and tax revenue, and the entire deposit.
price changes:
Menu pricing is subject to change. Events may be subject to additional charges as follows: Attendant
and Chef Charges are a minimum of $75 per hour or as determined by the Food & Beverage Director.
Events held outdoors require additional labor for set-up, breakdown and
service and you will be charged accordingly.
taxes and service charges:
All food and beverage items are subject to state sales tax and
20% gratuity shall be added to the final bill.
Service of Alcoholic Beverages:
Alcoholic beverages will not be served or sold nor permitted to be consumed at the Club in any
manner prohibited by law. The Club reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse service to any
person for any reason whatsoever. All food and beverages consumed at the Club must be furnished
by the Club unless previously approved, in writing, by the General Manager of the Club. Any alcohol,
including alcoholic party favors, brought to the Club without the Club’s prior written consent will be
immediately confiscated by the Club. No alcohol may be removed from the Club Property at any time.
indemnification:
The Client shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Hampton Golf and its officers, directors,
partners, agents, members and employees from and against any and all demands, claims, damages,
to persons or property losses and liabilities, including reasonable attorney’s fee (collectively
claims) arising out of or caused by the Client’s negligence and/or its Members agents’, employees’,
independent contractors’, or exhibitors negligence in connection
with the use of Southern Hills Plantation Club.
damage:
In the event that there are damages to Southern Hills Plantation Club, you will be responsible for
applicable fees. Should excess cleaning be required, a $250 cleaning fee will be charged.
