Rich with aromas of wild strawberry and sweet balsamic, this Sweet Red
Wine is full of maraschino cherry flavor, with candied apple, fresh sugarcane, and juicy red plum. Full-bodied, with richness and depth from the
earthy Lodi soil, the light tannins are perfectly balanced by the just-right
sweetness. Six months on new French oak gives this blend a touch of
sophisticated complexity. Finishing with dried strawberry flavors, this is a
sure-fire crowd pleaser.
FOOD PAIRING
This sweet red wine is a blend of 55% Syrah from Lodi and 45% Pinot Noir
from Clarksburg, two of California’s oldest wine-growing regions. Serve
this with a brown sugar BBQ sauce on grilled chicken, a sweet potato
casserole, or add some orange slices and serve as a fresh red wine sangria.
