Pteranodons were carnivores and ate mostly fish
and other sea creatures. They hunted a lot like a
pelican, scooping fish out of the water with their
beaks
Pteranodons had hollow bones which made their
bodies light enough to fly

scientists think they were smarter than the other
dinosaurs

“decorations” to attract mates and show off to
other Stegosaurs

T-Rex was a carnivore, with large, cone shaped
teeth
T-Rex’s jaw was 4 feet long and he could eat
500 pounds of meat with every bite
The T-Rex had the strongest bite of any living
creature
T-Rex was very fast moving, running 10-25 miles
an hour
T-Rex fossils have been found in North America

Triceratops was a herbivore with a beak-like
mouth. It would eat mostly low growing
plants.
Triceratops had a “frill” made of bone
around it’s head which was 6 feet wide,
and may have protected it’s neck from

Triceratops could be up to 30 feet long!

Verlociraptors are a feathered dinosaur,
with a small, fine-feathered covering
Even though they had hollow bones and
feathers like a bird, they were unable to fly
Velociraptors were carnivores

dinosaurs. They are also one of the fastest,
running up to 24 miles per hour
