Abel and Junon had two children, Joseph and Elizabeth. Victim of a rare illness, Joseph's only hope was a
bone marrow transplant. As they and Elizabeth were incompatible, his parents conceived a third child in
the hope of saving him. But little Henri too was unable to help his brother, and Joseph died, aged 6. After
the birth of a fourth child, Ivan, the Vuillard family gradually began to recover.
Years later, Elizabeth is a playwright. Henri goes from successful business deal to fraudulent bankruptcy
and Ivan, once a fragile adolescent, has become the almost sane father of two. One fateful day, worn
down by his excesses, Elizabeth ‘banished’ Henri. No one else knows exactly what happened, nor why he
disappeared. Today the family seems to have come apart. Only Junon's nephew Simon, struggles to
maintain the link between the provincial parents, the virtuous sister and the two brothers, one uncertain,
the other disgraced...
A christmas tale begins with the reappearance of the disease that took Joseph: Junon has leukaemia. Her
only hope is to find a bone marrow donor amongst the members of her family. Her children and
grandchildren are all tested. Paul, Elizabeth’s mentally troubled adolescent son, is overwhelmed by anxiety.
The family gathers at the splendid parental home for Christmas. Even Henri accepts Paul’s invitation and
turns up with his latest conquest. It’s time for the settling of scores. Then, little by little, the storm calms.
But questions remain. Ivan’s wife Sylvia discovers the feelings Simon has had for her for years. Has she
truly lived her life, or just its pale shadow? Will Junon accept a dangerous transplant to cure an illness that
may never develop further? Will Paul’s father allow his son to become her donor, and thus risk the
responsibility for her death? As for Elizabeth and Henri, what can be done when a dispute moves beyond
all reason?
Masterfully directed and acted, by turns savage, bittersweet, darkly comic and unbearably
moving, A CHRISTMAS TALE shows internationally acclaimed Desplechin at the height of his
powers.

introduction and Leonard arranges to see her again.
Then late one night Leonard looks out his bedroom window and notices a ravishing
young woman he's never seen before. Michelle (GWYNETH PALTROW) recently moved
into an apartment in his family’s building—an apartment paid for by the wealthy
married man she’s seeing. Leonard is instantly attracted to this beautiful, volatile

PART ONE
On November 26, 1956, Fidel Castro sails to Cuba with eighty rebels. One of those rebels is Ernesto
“Che” Guevara, an Argentine doctor who shares a common goal with Fidel Castro - to overthrow the
corrupt dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista.
Che proves indispensable as a fighter, and quickly grasps the art of guerrilla warfare. As he throws
himself into the struggle, Che is embraced by his comrades and the Cuban people. This film tracks
Che’s rise in the Cuban Revolution, from doctor to commander to revolutionary hero.
PART TWO
After the Cuban Revolution, Che is at the height of his fame and power. Then he disappears, reemerging incognito in Bolivia, where he organizes a small group of Cuban comrades and Bolivian
recruits to start the great Latin American Revolution.
The story of the Bolivian campaign is a tale of tenacity, sacrifice, idealism, and of guerrilla warfare
that ultimately fails, bringing Che to his death. Through this story, we come to understand how Che
remains a symbol of idealism and heroism that lives in the hearts of people around the world.

Francis (Bosco Francis) is a man at the end of his tether. The former magician
often takes solace in the bottle and barely ekes out a living as a cleaner in a
nightclub. He has a 10-year-old son he loves desperately, but sorrow, guilt
and constant inebriation have made him an ineffectual father. The son
(Jathishweran) is a stoic 'old soul' who has learned to bury his affection for
his old man and to cope with his chaotic life.
A broken spirit and a single parent, Francis hopes to redeem himself and win
his son's love and respect. He makes a painful - and bizarre - return to magic.
An unexpected incident one night sets father and son on the road. In a
dilapidated building, these two wounded souls come to terms with their love a love which is as deep and acute as their grief.

Two young American women, Vicky (Rebecca Hall) and Cristina (Scarlett Johansson) come to Barcelona for a summer holiday.
Vicky is sensible and engaged to be married; Cristina is emotionally and sexually adventurous. In Barcelona, they're drawn
into a series of unconventional romantic entanglements with Juan Antonio (Javier Bardem), a charismatic painter, who is still
involved with his tempestuous ex-wife Maria Elena (Pen鬯pe Cruz). Set against the luscious Mediterranean sensuality of
Barcelona, VICKY CRISTINA BARCELONA is Woody Allen's funny and open-minded celebration of love in all its configurations.

Renowned multi-award winning director Emir Kusturica directs a celebration of the
extraordinary history and phoenix-like resurrection of Diego Maradona: sporting hero,
people's champion, fallen idol and inspiration to millions.
Enjoying unprecedented access to the man himself, as well as to extensive archives,
Kusturica takes the audience on an intimate whirlwind tour of places and people
closest and most important to this god of football.
From Argentina to Naples, from Cuba to Barcelona; from family and childhood friends
to fellow players (LIONEL MESSI) and world leaders (Fidel Castro), MARADONA traces
the great man's incredible story, from the humblest of beginnings to worlddomination; from spectacular, tragic fall to glorious rebirth.
Revisiting the sites of past triumphs, returning to the place of his birth for the first
time in TWO DECADES, celebrating his forty FIFTH birthday in joyous and extravagant
style, coaching young players of the future, pursuing his burgeoning and deeply
committed political activism, accompanied at all times by Kusturica's visionary camera,
Diego Maradona is revealed in all his complex, passionate humanity.
Profoundly moving, joyous and life-affirming, featuring an original score from Manu
Chao, MARADONA is both a unique documentation of a growing friendship between
director and his subject and a passionate exaltation of a true legend of our times.

At dawn on April 30, 1945, five days after Liberation, two blood-soaked
corpses were found in the outskirts of Milan. Osvaldo Valenti and Luisa
Ferida - executed by partisans. But who were Osvaldo Valenti and Luisa
Ferida?
Idolized by the public, a famous couple on and off screen, Valenti and Ferida were stars of the
Fascist-endorsed “white telephone” cinema. Comfortable in the roles of the charming male
rogue and the soulless lost woman, they had scandalized petit-bourgeois Italy. Drug addicts,
their private lives were no less controversial. Following the 1943 Armistice, they joined the
doomed Social Republic; during the civil war, dedicated themselves to the black market and
joined a band of torturers responsible for terrible atrocities. Degenerate, perverted, insatiable,
both were driven by an uncontrollable lust for sensation and their all-consuming cocaine habits.
At least this was the rumor.
Even the partisan leadership had doubts about their guilt. Valenti swore he’d joined the Social
Republic in order to mediate with the occupying Germans. He claimed that the crimes
attributed to him were inventions, the fruits of envy. But an exemplary punishment was
required. Shamelessly, Valenti and Ferida had supported the Fascist regime, collaborated with
the Germans, fought the partisans, and made a killing on the black market. They had to pay.
A powerful and controversial saga of corruption and desire run wild enacted
beneath the dark shadow of fascism. From the acclaimed director of THE BEST OF
YOUTH.

ON THE ROCKS celebrates the personalities and artistic voices that have emerged from
this legendary residence in the heart of New York.
The 12-storey, 250-room Chelsea Hotel - originally built in 1883 as Manhattan’s first cooperative
apartment, and the tallest building in New York until 1902 - was converted into a hotel and
residence in 1905. Once considered an untouchable, impenetrable tower for writers, artists,
musicians and mavericks, it has recently been claimed as a boutique hotel venture for a
management company which shows blatant disregard for its formidable history.

Mapplethorpe, Tom Waits, Courtney Love, Sam Shepard, Charles Bukowski, Julian Schnabel, Jasper
Johns, Viva, Quentin Crisp, Jimi Hendrix, and many others (some of whom appear in this film). Beyond the famous are the little known who have
made this their refuge in New York - countless writers, painters, directors, costume and lighting designers, gallerists and curators, and those who
are just always there with no visible means of support. And then there are those - most famously Sid Vicious' girlfriend Nancy Spungen - who died
there.
Each of these characters fills out a cast that makes this story come together with the best of New York architecture, history, art, comedy and
tragedy, all through the eyes and passion of acclaimed auteur Abel Ferrara. Interviewing current tenants, recreating scenes of events that
occurred at the Chelsea and intertwining archival footage with different formats of film and video, Ferrara creates a film that breaks through the
documentary mould into something that captures the essence of the Chelsea Hotel.

“Shaking Tokyo” by Bong Joon Ho tells the story of Teruyuki, one of Japan’s many hikimori – citizens who
have withdrawn from all contact with the outside world. When a pizza delivery girl faints in his apartment
during an earthquake, the unthinkable happens – Teruyuki falls in love. And when she does not return, he is

In “Merde” by Leos Carax, a mysterious, sewer-dwelling man spreads confusion on the streets of Tokyo
through a succession of irrational and provocative acts. Who is he? Why is he here? What does he want? The
city’s population becomes obsessed by this strange phenomenon. When “The Creature of The Sewers’, as the
media have dubbed him – discovers a hidden World War 2 arsenal, confusion turns to terror, as he stages a
succession of bloody grenade attacks. Captured by the police, he refuses to talk, until a fifth rate French lawyer
arrives to defend him. (Japanese & French language)
Michel Gondry’s “Hiroko and Akira in Tokyo” is the surreal fable of a couple who move to Tokyo in search
of a future. While Akira’s ambition (to direct movies) is clear, Hiroko drifts, gradually losing control over her life.
Left alone, she wakes one morning to find a hole in her chest... By the end of the day, Hiroko has transformed
into a chair. A series of nightmarish adventures and transmutations ensues, until at last Hiroko is rescued by a
kind stranger and her new, fulfilling life – half woman, half-chair – can begin. (Japanese language)

In Tyson, the former heavyweight champion looks at his own life in
and out of the ring with a candor and eloquence that is by turns
shocking, funny, hair-raising and never less than brutally honest.
In other words, Tyson explores…Tyson.
James Toback’s film portrait ranges from Tyson's earliest memories
of growing up on the meanest streets of Brooklyn through his entry
into the world of boxing under the stewardship of his beloved trainer
Cus D’Amato, his misadventures with Don King and his tortured
marriage to Robin Givens, his rollercoaster ride through the funhouse
of worldwide fame, his fortunes won and lost. Tyson offers much
more than a documentary about a former heavyweight champ.
Through a deft mixture of original interviews and archival footage
and photographs, a complex, fully-rounded human being emerges –
a legendary and uniquely controversial international athletic icon… a
figure conjuring radical questions of race and class… a man who
emerged from the most debased circumstances and soared to
seemingly unlimited heights, followed by destruction generated by
hubris, like a character out of classical tragedy.

Oscar, (20), and his sister Linda (18), are recent arrivals in Tokyo. Oscar sells drugs for a living, and Linda works as a
nightclub stripper. One night, Oscar goes to a bar to make a deal. But the cops are waiting, and in the panic that
ensues he is accidentally shot.
As Oscar lies dying, his perception grows distorted. Swept along a limitless tunnel of memories, he witnesses again the
death of his parents in a car crash when he was five years old, and the promise he made to his little sister – that he
would never abandon her. A dazzling light tears him from these memories but Oscar cannot abandon the world of the
living. Like a disembodied spirit, his vision flies through the city and around those close to him. But despite all his
efforts, he cannot communicate with them. Not even with Linda. Magnificent coloured lights appear again, and try to
pull him away from the world, but he rejects them, true to his promise and a prisoner to his desires and his fears …
Oscar’s perceptions grow evermore distorted, his visions evermore chaotic and nightmarish. Past, present and future
merge in a hallucinatory maelstrom.
Shot from start to finish from the subjective point of view or mental perspective of its leading character, ENTER THE
VOID is a hallucinatory film, a melodrama of altered states of consciousness.

are taking, the kids wreak havoc throughout the entire town. But just when they think they’ve found the solution, Nicholas sees a friend
whose mother has just had a baby and who describes all the pluses being a big brother. It doesn’t sound to bad at all to Nicholas.
He runs home and tells his parents that he’s delighted to have a little brother. But there’s another big surprise awaiting our hero…

Andrei Filipov was a prodigy – the celebrated conductor of the Bolshoi Orchestra,
the greatest orchestra in Russia. Today, aged 50, he still works at the Bolshoi, but
as a cleaner.
During the communist era, he was fired at the height of his fame for refusing to
get rid of all his Jewish players, - ‘Zionists and enemies of the People’ - including
his best friend Sacha Grossman. Andreï sank into booze and depression.
The Director of the Bolshoi, an old apparatchik, has been promising forever to return Andrei’s orchestra to him “soon”,
but he’s mocking him, humiliating him sadistically. For him, Andreï’s a has-been, and he’s doing him a big favour by
keeping him on as a cleaner.
Then Andrei finds a fax. An invitation for the orchestra to play at Pleyel, in Paris, in two weeks’ time, as a last minute
replacement for the indisposed San Francisco Philharmonic. Andreï conceives of a crazy notion: he’ll round up his old
musician buddies, a motley bunch now scraping a living in Moscow as cab drivers, removal men, flea market traders,
suppliers of porno film sound effects … They’ll go to Paris as the Bolshoï. They’ll defy destiny and take their revenge!
Will they make it?

This is the story of Ponyo, a little fish who struggles to realize her dream of living with a boy named Sosuke. It also tells of how five-year-old
Sosuke manages to keep a most solemn promise.
PONYO ON THE CLIFF BY THE SEA places Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Little Mermaid” in a contemporary Japanese setting. It is a tale of
childhood love and adventure.
A little seaside town and a house at the top of a cliff. A small cast of characters. The ocean as a living presence. A world where magic and
alchemy are accepted as part of the ordinary. The sea below, like our subconscious mind, intersects with the wave-tossed surface above. By
distorting normal space and contorting normal shapes, the sea is animated not as a backdrop to the story, but as one of its principal
characters.
A little boy and a little girl, love and responsibility, the ocean and life – these things, and that which is most elemental to them, are depicted in
the most basic way in PONYO ON THE CLIFF BY THE SEA. This is my response to the afflictions and uncertainty of our times.

Move On! Storming The Gate
A DOCUMENTARY BY
ALEX JORDANOV & SCOTT STEVENSON
PRODUCER - Rita Dagher for YALLA FILMS(FAHRENHEIT 9/11, MY ENEMY’S
ENEMY, TERROR’S ADVOCATE)
A feature-length documentary examining MoveOn.Org, the largest progressive grassroots movement since
the 1960s, and one of the major players in the upcoming 2008 U.S. Presidential election. This is a modernday story of David versus Goliath.
MoveOn is a new force in politics. A child of the internet age, it was born in Silicon Valley, and has spread
through the net to become one of the most voracious, liberal and controversial powers in American politics.
With a mailing list of over 3 million people, it is a movement built on the strength of its members, and is best understood through their individual
stories. The reverend who doesn’t want to bury another 19-year-old killed in Iraq. The unemployed 50-year-old Virginia woman, cleaning yards to be
able to give money to MoveOn. The Boston social worker dismayed at how America treats its sick. And up the chain all the way to its vociferous and
energetic leaders.
MoveOn has created a revolutionary system of fundraising through the internet. By combining the small donations of average citizens, it has created a
tidal wave that is shaking the traditional foundations of power in Washington.
They are a tiny organization, but their liberal politics and promotional flair have earned them some influential friends: some famous, like Matt Damon,
Moby, Oliver Stone; some political, like Howard Dean; and some controversial, like George Soros. Their visceral tactics and aggressive style have also
made them enemies, on both left and right.
This film traces an historic journey through one of the most tumultuous decades in American history – and its effects on the past ten years of all our
lives. Seamlessly constructed from intimate behind-the-scenes footage, members’ home movies, archive film and interviews with political figures and
celebrities both for and against the group, powerful and provocative, MOVEON: STORMING THE GATE stands as a call to arms and vivid testimony to
our times.

NOTHING IS REAL. EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
Nemo is 35, an ordinary man, married to Elise, with three children. But life's turning strange: billboards flash messages addressed only to him; on the streets, he
passes strangers with his face; behind the facade of a half-constructed building, helicopters lift enormous blocks of the ocean... Nemo wakes, trapped in his car,
drowning. He wakes and is shot by an unknown assassin. He wakes again, by a swimming pool in the grounds of a mansion. With a new wife and new children...
The year 2092. Science has rendered natural death obsolete. But in hospital, as the world's media looks on, a 120-year-old man is dying. Nemo, the last mortal on
earth. Under hypnosis, fragments of his past begin to emerge.
Nemo is 8. Occasionally, he dreams of the future; occasionally his dreams come true. In his hometown live three little girls, Anna, Elise and Jean. Life offers infinite
possibilities, and as long as Nemo does nothing, anything can happen. But when his parents split up, he's forced to choose. His life divides, he plunges headlong into a
world where nothing happens by chance, yet nothing can be foreseen. A universe where the beating of a butterfly's wings in Japan can cause storms on the other side
of the globe.
Years pass. In England, 16-year-old Nemo falls for Elise, and when she rejects him, pursues Jean. Halfway across the world, another Nemo falls in love with Anna,
daughter of his mother's lover. It's the love of a lifetime. Their clandestine affair is joyous, their days and nights blissful, until his mother and her father part and Anna
vanishes from Nemo's life.
Adolescence passes into adulthood. One Nemo lives with Elise. He is paralyzed by fear. Another Nemo, married to Jeanne, has achieved everything he dreamed of but
none of it matters. The third waits for Anna. Every day, they pass through the same train station, kept apart by an ocean of 27 minutes. Until a random death reunites
them.

stop wrestling. For good.
Forced out of show business, Randy begins to evaluate the state of his life. He tries to reconnect with his daughter and

A man from the city visits a poor village and offers a ten-year-old peasant boy the

In order to get the job, the boy has to take part in a competition with other poor
children. The man will employ whoever can carry a crippled child - who lost his legs
in war - to school on his back. A tough contest takes place and finally, the boy
wins.
For one dollar a day, the peasant boy carries his crippled charge to school and

Kabul, today. A city struggling to recover from 25 years of warfare. At the crowded bus station, taxi driver Khaled picks up a
woman and baby. Her face is hidden behind a blue burqa. They settle on a price, she pays him and they drive off.
The taxi arrives at its destination. The woman gets out and a new passenger climbs in... to find the baby still in the backseat.
Khaled leaps out after the woman but can’t find her. He’s left holding the baby - a boy, just 6 months old. There’s no way to tell
who he is.
Khaled takes the baby home. His wife’s given him 3 girls – but no son. Yet he can’t keep the one he’s found.
The next day he goes to the police, but it’s not their affair. He tries an orphanage, but they don’t take kids under 5. The director
of a humanitarian NGO says he’ll give the mother $100 if she appears. It’s all he can do.
Khaled takes the baby to the radio station. An announcement is aired, and the following day, five women turn up to collect the
$100.
But Khaled knows how to identify the real mom: he spotted a mole on her ankle when she climbed into his taxi.
He asks around - friends, strangers in the street. He returns to where he picked the woman up. Nothing. Fate has placed in his
hands a young life for which he feels more and more responsible.
An eventful, chaotic, often highly comic journey through a city which itself is simply trying to survive.
Poignant, rich, vibrant, Barmak Akram's debut feature is a remarkable portrait of one man's emotional awakening
in a city returning to crazy life after 25 years of violent conflict. " 'Central do Brazil' in Afghanistan."

Pamplona 2001. 12-year-old Camino is dying in hospital. Surrounded by
family, friends and hospital staff, she provides an almost supernatural
example of a peaceful, contented death. Then, in her final moments,
something extraordinary happens. Camino may yet escape death…
Madrid, a few months earlier.
Charming and intelligent schoolgirl Camino shares her life and dreams with
her clairvoyant friend Begoña. She’s very close to her mother, Gloria, an
Opus Dei supernumerary who has drummed into her the faith “without
concessions” which is now central to her life. As Camino enters adolescence,
she feels the first stirrings of love. At the same time, she is diagnosed with a
rare and aggressive tumour.
Helpless in the face of this tragedy, her father is the only other person who
knows about the platonic love story unfolding in Camino’s heart. His
humanity stands in stark contrast to Gloria’s conviction that everything that
is happening to Camino is because God has chosen her. The relationship
between mother and father grows increasingly fragile as Camino’s state
worsens.
Camino is admitted to the Opus Dei-run clinic in Pamplona. Here, shorn of
everything (including her beautiful long blonde hair) her plight is interpreted
by as a manifestation of sanctity and an extremely valuable example for a
generation of young people increasingly isolated from the Church. But for
Camino, pain and suffering are overshadowed by the love… love for someone
she can neither see nor touch.
CAMINO is inspired by the true-life story of a 14-year old girl who died in
Pamplona in 1984 and who is currently in the process of being canonized.
Inspired by real events, CAMINO is the extraordinary story of a
brief, brave life set against the mysterious, cloistered and little seen
world of the Opus Dei. A heart-rending and controversial drama in
the lineage of Peter Mullan’s THE MAGDALENE SISTERS.

A young teacher with an impressive resume takes a job teaching natural
sciences at a village grammar school. He makes acquaintance with a
woman and her 17-year old son. The teacher has no romantic interest in
the woman but that doesn't stop them from forming a friendship. One day,
the teacher's ex-boyfriend comes to visit. The ex-boyfriend quickly realizes
that nobody in the village knows that the teacher is gay. He also realizes
that the teacher harbors a secret affection for the 17-year old boy. His
jealous actions set in motion a series of events that tests the inner strength
and compassion of the teacher, the woman and her son.
A beautifully shot, powerfully acted, profoundly moving story of
desire, responsibility, forgiveness and the need to belong, from the
internationally-acclaimed director of "Something Like Happiness" and
"Wild Bees".

Everyone knows Tintin and his adventures in America. Thanks to David Lynch,
we've already watched with amazement as a gas-powered lawnmower made its
surreal odyssey across the States, and as for the delightful Little Miss Sunshine
and her extraordinary family's minibus road trip.
French filmaker extraordinaire Antoine de Maximy has already cut a swathe
across thirty countries, always alone, shamelessly inviting himself to stay with
complete strangers for his cult hit series "I'm Spending The Night At Your
Place".
Now. he's really raising the stakes: a feature-length trek across the USA, alone
as always, with no crew, his chance meetings with strangers witnessed and
recorded through the irreverent and curious eyes of the resourceful 'little
Frenchman".
Antoine will paint a unique and never-before-seen portrait of the most-filmed
country in the world... THE land of cinema, the country everyone knows - or
thinks they know !
HOLLYWOOD : I’M SPLEEPING OVER TONIGHT will be the funniest,
the most spontaneous... the craziest road movie ever to grace the big

spending the night under the roof of a Hollywood star. Stallone ?

window of the building opposite and a banner reading: Man Alone. A hoax? A cry for help?
What lies behind this mysterious message?
Later that day, during the lunch hour, the Square becomes the place where everyone
meets. A retired English teacher is disturbed by a jogger who turns out to be a former
pupil. Two young lovers are on the verge of splitting up. Children play love games and
war games as their anxious mothers look on. A philosophical tramp, a clumsy ladies’ man,
zealous cops - and Lucie, who is unknowingly photographed by a mysterious stranger...
Afternoon at the Brico-Dream store and the boss is trying to motivate his staff. The

In an unnamed African country torn by rebellion, Maria, an indomitable white woman, refuses to abandon her coffee crops,
or to acknowledge the danger to which she is exposing her family. For Maria, to leave would be to surrender. André - her
ex-husband and father of their son - is frightened by her stubborn pride. Without her knowing, he sets about arranging the
family's escape to France. He has married again, a young African woman with whom he has a son, and for them, he will
stop at nothing. Not even at betraying Maria by placing her destiny in the hands of the local mayor, a man André believes
to be his friend. André is not aware that the mayor is involved in the conflict, that he opposes the rebels and has more on
his mind than saving a white family entirely cut off from the reality of his country. Neither Maria nor André suspects that
their home, the plantation, is the refuge for a desperate, hunted rebel officer. Nor that an army of lawless child soldiers is
hiding in the dense jungle that surrounds them.
An astonishing cast brings to vivid life this African-set first action drama from Claire Denis (Beau Travail, Trouble Every Day).
A film of extraordinary beauty and devastating power.

10-year-old Tommy lives with his mother Betty on an isolated farm deep in the Canadian countryside. There's no man at home.
Tommy has never known his father, and Betty, who seems to have ended up on the farm like a woman on the run, vainly searches
on-line for a companion. She’s a sad, silent woman, permanently shadowed by a aura of melancholy. Tommy hates seeing his
mother so unhappy. He would do anything to see her smile, but how? A traveling circus arrives at the nearby village, where they
plan to put up their big top. But permission is refused and it looks like they will be forced to move on. Then Tommy has a
brainwave. What better than a circus to create an atmosphere of celebration, of joy? He manages to convince a reluctant Betty to
offer their farm as an alternative venue, and the performers duly move into the huge field opposite the house. But there’s more
trouble ahead: Bingo, the driver of the truck carrying the big top, doesn’t turn up. No big top, no circus! They send someone to
look for Bingo… and they wait.
A week passes. Tommy spends time with the circus performers, and through his interaction with these colourful characters, each
more extraordinary than the last, little by little he begins to find answers to the questions we all ask ourselves – questions about
love and hope and responsibility to those we love - even if modern life drives us to hide our emotions behind a cynical mask.
Funny, tender, utterly captivating, set against the spectacular natural scenery of Canada's far-flung wilderness,
Philippe Muyl's enchanting family fable tells the story of a boy, his mother and the traveling circus that awakens
them to life's endless possibilities. Truly magical.

Jane Morton, a psychiatrist in mourning after the accidental death of her son, is
assigned the case of Dorothy Mills, a 15-year-old girl from a small Irish island,
accused of attempting to murder a baby in her charge.
Arriving at the village, Jane discovers a small, frightened community, troubled by
mysterious events and haunted by a terrible shared secret and hostile to outsiders.
Deeply religious, and believed by the villagers to possess supernatural powers, the
terrified Dorothy swears she never touched the child. Moved by the girl's fragile,
vulnerable state, Jane makes a diagnosis of multiple personality disorder, until the
day that Dorothy speaks to her with the voice of her dead son. Jane is forced to
admit that the girl indeed possesses powers that exist beyond the realm of
psychiatry - dangerous powers that will plunge the village community into a violent
collective psychosis.
Beautifully filmed on the remote Irish coast, and featuring an
extraordinary performance from its young lead, DORORTHY is a terrifying
melange of psychological and supernatural horror, a chilling portrait of an
isolated community united in fear and cruelty, to rank alongside
“Breaking the Waves” and “The Others”.

France. A night at the beginning of the 1970s.
Lucie, a little girl missing for over a year, is discovered wandering by the side of a country road. Near catatonic, she can say nothing
about what has happened to her. The cops quickly find the place in which she's been incarcerated - a disused slaughterhouse. Every
indication is that she never once left the empty, freezing room in which she was imprisoned. Filthy and starving, the child's body
nonetheless bears no traces of sexual abuse - this was not a paedophile abduction, but something far stranger. What happened in
that icy room? And how did Lucie escape?
Lucie is hospitalized - slowly she learns how to live again, an enfant sauvage gradually returning to the real world. In the hospital,
she meets Anna, another little girl, and a victim of terrible abuse at the hands of her family. In no time, they are inseparable. Anna
takes charge of Lucie, like a mother. As for her kidnappers, the police are at a dead end. Lucie's ordeal remains a terrible mystery.
One night, as Anna sleeps, Lucie hears an awful, rasping breathing. A vision appears: a body, naked, skeletal, tortured. Barely
human. The apparition seizes her...
15 years later. A house, isolated in the middle of a forest. A family: Mum, Dad, two kids. A happy home. As they eat breakfast,
there's a knock at the door. The father opens it to find a young woman, hollow-eyed and wraithlike and mad. In her hands, a rifle.
“Remember the little girl I once was?”. She shoots him where he stands, enters the house, and locks the door.
Minutes later, the family lie bloody. All dead. Lucie calls Anna, who tells her not to move, she'll be right there. In shock, Lucie hangs
up. And then she hears it. That terrible, terribly familiar breathing...

Albert Stockton returns home from work to find a note from Nancy, his wife of 15 years, saying she's gone to see friends.
It's a lie.
Nancy has met her saviour in the form of Louis Turley. Louis' life, like hers, had become a twisted quest for belonging and
sexual fulfillment via the darkest pathways of the Internet. Damaged and lonely, at first Nancy and Louis take comfort in
one another through email, explicit pictures and erotic promises.
Albert tracks Louis down and confronts him. He hears how Louis and Nancy found each other, how they started their affair
on-line and how they ended it together.
Albert learns that in the final days of his wife's sad lonely life, Nancy made the one-way journey to a place of liberation, an
arena where desire is unleashed, where pain becomes pleasure and where the end is the beginning. The place where she
joined Louis...
“Sundance Festival Director Geoff Gilmore introduced Downloading Nancy as "the most intense film of the festival." Not
only is he absolutely right, but it's also powerful, emotional, overwhelming and, most importantly, extremely
uncomfortable.”

An amateur armed robber whose attractive victim is herself starting out in the armed robbery game. Two crooks who kidnap a
teenager so suicidal she begs them to kill her - her father has no intention of paying the ransom anyway. A singer, abandoned by
the muse, who steals the latest compositions of a more successful colleague. And finally...
Four pensioners who abandon the safety of retirement and return to the joyful thrills of the criminal life. Four sets of characters,
their fates shaped more by mishap and chance than their own desires. Four interlinked stories, all taking place in Paris, all connected
by a very particular cafe. A place through which everyone passes but nobody stays. A place rich in the bittersweet memories of our
characters’ pasts, and a place where - for some - the future is born.
“Playing with a "Pulp Fiction" style of humor (…) helmer-scripter Samuel Benchetrit crafts a dryly playful round-robin featuring
some surprising names turning in warmly knowing perfs”
VARIETY
“The finest compliment to the filmmakers and splendid cast is that you wish the movie wouldn't end. These are marvelously
rendered characters, and it would be great to spend more time in their misguided but endearing company.”
