We live in times of great uncertainty. One
of the comforts of the Bible is the truth that
God is in control of all things. We call this His
providence. The Westminster Larger Catechism
answer eighteen gives a succinct definition of
providence: “God’s works of providence are
His most holy, wise, and powerful preserving
and governing all His creatures; ordering
them, and all their actions, to His glory.” In
the Spring Theology Conference 2014, we will
study God’s Works of Providence, examining
biblically what providence is and such topics
as its relation to evil, sin, suffering, and prayer.
