Your MBC family tradition begins here!

until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6 NLT

Summer@MBC
Our MBC team is fully committed to making your stay a truly
unforgettable and life changing experience. To that end we have put
together this Program Guide so that you can get the most out of
your stay with us. Please be sure to connect with one of our team
members if you need clarity on any of the options available to you
and your family.
Our theme this year focuses on ‘The Promises of God’. This builds
on last year’s theme of getting to know the God in whom we believe.
The promise only becomes meaningful when we understand the
One who made the promise. We can put our confidence in His
promises because we can say along with Paul ‘for I know the One in
Whom I trust’ (2 Timothy 1:12).
May you also take some time during your stay to consider how you
could help support this ministry financially. The ministry activities
(adult teaching, kids and youth programming) are all supported by
donations alone. Your gift can help cover these costs and ensure
that the programming content remains robust and ever increasing in
its Kingdom impact. Thank you.
For information on our donation priorities and
process, please check out the Muskoka Bible
Foundation website:
http://www.muskokabiblefoundation.com
May you feel blessed as we enjoy serving you this summer!

nominated for Instrumental Album of the Year at the
Canadian Vibe Awards. Jay was invited to be a

Week 1: July 4-11
Sunday morning, Monday - Friday evenings
Robbie Symons is the founding Pastor of Harvest
Bible Chapel Oakville. His greatest passion is to
see Jesus Christ glorified as people realize their
potential through His amazing power. Harvest
Bible Chapel Oakville has witnessed tremendous
grace from God in its growth from a Bible study
with 18 people in 2003 to over 3000 today, and
has witnessed the overflow of His grace in the
planting of vibrant churches across Canada in Brampton (2009),
Niagara (2011) Toronto West (2013), Brantford (2014) and Kelowna
(2014). Robbie holds a B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University and a M.Div.
from McMaster University. He and his wife Gillian live with their four
children in Burlington, Ontario.
Sunday evening, Monday - Friday mornings
It took a tragic sports injury to bring Ian Hales to
a place of humble submission before God. But
through that trial, Ian learned that God must be
his one and only pursuit. After he surrendered
his whole life to Christ without reservation, the
call to ministry was made clear to him. Ian
received his BA from York University and his
Masters of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary.
Ian’s greatest desire is to see God glorified. His prayer is that God will
use Harvest Durham to be a pillar of truth in the Durham region – that
the preaching of God’s Word would transform believers in that area and
bring them to maturity in Christ. Ian and his wife Sarah were married in
2003 and are parents to Karis and Joshua.

surrender themselves to the values of God's
Kingdom. Dom grew up in Montreal and it's in
that eclectic context that he sensed God's leading
to pursue the call to full time ministry. While Director of High School
ministries at a vibrant church in Calgary, Dom completed his Masters
degree in Early Church Studies. Soon after, God's leading provided an
opportunity for Dom to lead a campus community in Waterloo while

Muskoka Bible Foundation
Muskoka Bible Foundation (MBF) exists to support the
Kingdom building activities taking place on the grounds
of Muskoka Bible Centre. We are very thankful for your
faithful partnership in helping to build the Kingdom of
God. You are BUILDERS alongside of us in the great work
God is doing here at MBC!
This year our MBF Builders target is just under $705,000. These funds
support a variety of programming strategically designed to accomplish
our mission of renewing, connecting and equipping the family of God.
Did you know that all of our ministry programming is
completely funded through donations?
Yes, it’s true. Your fees for accommodation, meals and such cover the
operating and facility costs but the adult, youth and children’s programming is covered by donations from people like you who participate and also
many others who don’t attend but believe in what God is doing here.
Please consider a gift this summer to help support the ministry that
you are enjoying.
We encourage our MBF Builders to join us for our Builders Luncheon on
Saturday, August 8th. There is no cost associated with this luncheon but please
be sure to register in advance! See Bev Offner at the main office to sign up or
email [email protected]
Your specific opportunities for partnership this year include:
Send a CHILD to CAMP:
Help us send 250 Campers to
camp in 2015!
This summer, MBC and Camp
Widjiitiwin have a goal to bring 250
children & youth to camp at no cost
to them.
34
• ‘Escape’ Camp  60 children from inner-city Hamilton
 in partnership with area churches.
• ‘The Royal City’ Camp  30 at risk youth from the
Guelph area  in partnership with Church of the Ward.
• ‘Venture Camp’  30 at risk youth from Toronto
through a partnership with Capstone Community
Bible Church. ($200 per camp has already been committed by the church)
• An additional 20 campers from other areas.
As an incentive, Muskoka Bible Centre will match your gift of $425 to
Muskoka Bible Foundation by covering the cost of sending a camper to
Camp Widjiitiwin. Our goal is to raise $138,500 for Muskoka Bible
Foundation in support of this initiative.
In addition to our Camp Widjiitiwin outreach opportunities, your gifts help
support the Bible teaching and discipleship programming for children and
youth taking place this summer and also all the costs associated with the
adult ministry programming described in this program guide.
More than 9,000 guests, including more than 2,200 children and youth, will
be impacted with these Bible teaching and disciple-making initiatives.
We encourage you to consider partnering with us in 2015!
You can make a contribution directly at the office or participate in one of
the offering opportunities in chapel (Sunday AM/PM, Wednesday & Friday
PM). Income Tax Receipts will be given for gifts of $10 or more. Please
connect with John Friesen, CEO, should you have questions about specific
opportunities or check out www.muskokabiblefoundation.com for more
information.
