St. John’s Prayer Chain
Join us
What is the prayer chain? A group of parishioners who offer prayers daily
for those on the prayer chain list. Yes, we are busy and some days maybe
don’t get to it. It takes a minute or two to say the names, and offer up
prayers to our Lord. (There is a detailed explanation after each request,
privacy is respected by all members as the prayer chain is confidential,
many may say first name only, or mother in need, a friend in financial
needs, sick child etc. We respect privacy, and confidentiality.)
The first of every month an updated prayer request list is E-mailed to you
and fellow parishioners or a copy will be put in your church mail box if you
request. Any emergency request will be mailed to you during the month as
requested, by needed individuals or families, you may add any member or
non-member. You do not need to be a prayer chain member to request
prayers.
How much time does it take? As stated earlier, To say the names on the
list probably takes a minute-or-two a day.
1 Thessalonians 5 Verse 17 - Pray without Ceasing
1 Timothy 2 Verse 1 - I urge then, that first of all, supplications, prayers, and
intercessions, and giving thanks be made for all people
Want to join us – or do you have questions - or do you want someone
added to prayer list? E-mail or see Pastor, Jean, or Matt.
