Case Sponsors Needed
We have a need for Case Sponsors in our parish. Case Sponsors assist those
who are seeking church annulments for prior marriages. Now is a perfect time
to consider this ministry as formal training will be offered at the Chancery in October and November. Please contact Deacon Barry for more information about
this ministry.
October 29/30 is clergy appreciation weekend.
Thank you to the different Ministries who take this initiative to say thank you to
our priest and Deacons for their vocation.

Once again I want to thank all of you who had sent condolences
cards to me. It is very comforting to know of your support. God bless
you. Fr. Rafael
Master Plan Information
As of the last counting, 140 pledge cards have been returned. So far we have
approximately $319,000 in pledges and $179,000 in contributions. This means
that we are able to apply for the loan from the Archdiocese for the parking lot
portion of the project. Father Rafael has begun that process and potential contractors are being interviewed.
Pledge cards are still needed to keep going in with the project. The parking lot
is just the first phase of the plan. The second phase will complete the current
portions of the Master Plan project. The second phase entails enlarging the
entrance from the parking lot, moving the sacristy, making an additional entrance to the sanctuary, closing in the patio area, adding a stairway and elevator to reach the lower level of Founders Hall, etc. If you have any questions,
feel free to contact anyone on the Master Plan committee.
Please continue to support your Sacred Heart family. Thank you and may God
bless your generosity.
Liturgy meeting:
Please all members of the Liturgy committee need to get together and
plan the rest of the year liturgical calendar. Please come to the meeting
on October 27 at 5:45PM. Some of you need to be finished by 7:00PM
for choir practice. Thank you. And may God bless your time and talents.
