Mark your calendar for the 2012 annual meeting
The annual meeting of members will be 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22 at the
Hilton Garden Inn, Jonesboro. The election will not be conducted by a ballot
and there will be no nominations from the floor when there is only one nominee for each position to be filled. If a ballot is necessary, it will be mailed at
least 30 days in advance of the annual meeting.
Nominations will be accepted
by petition
Members wanting to be considered for
placement for NEAFCUʼs Board of Directors election may do so by nomination by
petition. Interested members must obtain
signatures from 1% of NEAFCUʼs membership which is 198 signatures. These
signatures would then be verified according to bylaw guidelines. The deadline to
receive nominations by petition along
with a statement of qualification and biographical data is November 10, 2011.
