Johnny B’s Pizzeria Brings New York Style to
Litchfield Park
For Johnny Barrios, his passion for football
and pizza can’t be separated. Johnny says,
“Football is like the pizza business. You just
keep at it and work hard.” One of Johnny’s
favorite sayings for football and business is
“It’s not a shame for a man to fall down,
it’s a shame for him to stay down.”

Johnny grew up in Ventura, California with
a passion for both pizza and football. While
Johnny and his family ran their pizza
business, Johnny played football at
Ventura High School and Ventura
Community College. He later went on to
coach at local high schools and for the
minor league pro team, the Ventura
County Sabers.
Being born and raised in Ventura, football
and the family pizza business, he knew
everyone in town. Moving to Arizona and
opening Johnny B’s Pizzeria is a new
chapter in life. For Johnny, it’s all about the
community. He has already plugged in with
the local skate board kids, giving them
pizza for the best trick. He looks towards
the long term and being part of the
community. On April 18th there will be a
poker ride with a stop at Johnny B’s. The
ride will benefit military veterans and
providing displaced vets with hygiene
products. Check with Johnny for details.

New York style pizza is Johnny’s specialty with a
thin crispy crust and thin sweet tomato sauce.
They serve traditional ingredients like sausage,
olives, and peperoni. They also serve Johnny’s
mother’s stuffed bell pepper, cut in half and
filled with pizza sauce, Mozzarella cheese and
your choice of fresh veggies and meats. The
menu also includes calzones, Stromboli,
sandwiches and salads.

Johnny buys all of his ingredients,
fresh as he needs them just like his
father did from local stores. They
season their own meats, grind their
own cheese and make their own
sauce and dough. Johnny didn’t learn
this from a corporate training video,
he learned it from his parents after
school and on weekends making
pizza.
Johnny B’s Pizzeria is a special place
in Litchfield Park, locally owned and
community oriented. Stop by and try
out some of Johnny’s New York style
pizza.
