Dear Food Vendor:
Welcome to the 24th Annual Heritage Days! Heritage Days is Boonville’s birthday party—thank you for participating!
Please Note: This year we are making changes to how the food vendors are accepted and placed within the festival.
You will not be next to craft booths. All food booths will be grouped together. They will be located on the east side of
Main Street on Spring Street. We no longer accept only one food booth selling a specific food—we will accept
duplicate types of food products. There are only fifteen spaces available. The first fifteen vendors who send payment
gets the space—regardless of food type. There are only three spots available for electricity. If you have a generator,
you are encouraged to use it. All food vendors are responsible for keeping your booth space clean during the event
and after the event. If the committee needs to clean your area at any time, you will not be invited back to our
festival.
Reservations: Booth space application and payment of booth fees must be received by June 1, 2013. If you need to
cancel, please contact the Chamber office as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, June 7th. Cancellations received
after that time will result in booth fee being forfeited.
Booth Information: Each Booth Space is 12 x 12. The committee will assign your location. You will be responsible for all
tables, tents, chairs, etc. If you have any special needs, make sure we are aware and have made acceptable
arrangements in writing by June 1, 2013. Trailers must fit into 12 x 12 booth space or you may purchase additional
booth space. (This includes hitches, tanks, canopies, or other items that protrude off of the trailer.) NO ALLOWANCES
will be made if trailers do not fit into your rented space. You will forfeit your space and your booth fee.
Set Up Time: Set up will begin at 6:00 a.m.; prior to 6:00 a.m. if you have a trailer—arrangements must be made in
advance. All booths must open at 9:00 a.m. and must remain open until 5:00 p.m.
Food Handling Safety Certification: The City of Boonville has a food handling training mandate for temporary food
establishments. Food vendors may be inspected by Cooper County Public Health and must have documented proof
that they meet certification requirements. For information, visit www.coopercountypublichealth.com or call CCPH at
660-882-2626.
Limited Electricity: Electricity will be available in some locations for an additional fee of $10. (Only three spots will have
electricity.) Please be sure to note if you require electricity. If you require more than 1 outlet, you will be responsible
for providing a generator. You will be responsible for providing your own extension cords. 120 Volt Only. Electrical
spots will be identified and assigned prior to set up. Please do not use those unassigned.
Note: All participants are required to record and pay any applicable sales tax. Do not park in areas that are blocked
off for other events or your vehicle will be towed. Committee members will be available to direct.
