An Emerging Technologies Showcase.
alphaWorks is the means by which IBM distributes the latest
from IBM’s Research, Software Labs, and independent groups
(like IBM’s Emerging Technologies Group) directly to the early
adopter community.
A Way for IBM to Listen to You.
We actually listen to your ideas via our forums, feedback
surveys, and provide opportunities to interact with IBM thoughtleaders.

ADIEU is a collaborative, online
development environment, in which small
applications and web services can be
created and deployed within minutes.

problem of indexing, categorizing, and searching large
volumes of images.
Smart Surveillance System is a new kind of security
system that utilizes automatic and intelligent data
analysis of video sequences.

computer, personalize it, and use it as one’s own
utilizing an autoconfiguring OS on a small, portable
device.
aDesigner helps web developers build sites to be
friendlier to those with visual impairments.
