Montrose Township Senior Center Thank you to all who donated to the homeless shelter. Special thanks to the Advisor Board! The Shelter of Flint reports that 60% of who they serve are children. Under 10 years old. 40% of people are homeless for the first time. We will continue to give.. The 2016 Medicare Open Enrollment Period begins October 15 through December 7. On Oct. 23 and Nov. 6 we will have a counselor at the center to assist you in reviewing your plan. Call the Montrose Senior Center to schedule an appointment. Twin Township Blood Pressure Checks Twin Township Ambulance will be here the last Monday of every month to do blood pressure checks at 11:00am. Tia Chi Tia-Chi is a doctor-recommended form of exercise/stretching. It has many health benefits: increases flexibility, lowers cholesterol, retards Alzheimer’s Disease and improves blood flow. Enjoy the colors of autumn, stop at a few stores and then end at Independence Village for some light refreshments. (Shuttle is wheelchair accessible.)
