D I R E C TI O N S
•
2 cups water
•
1/2 tablespoons loose-leaf Earl Grey tea 2
(We used Twinnings in the yellow tin)
•
2 cups frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed (buy two cans)
•
2 cups Tanqueray Rangpur gin, chilled
1. In small saucepan, bring water to boil. Add tea
leaves. Remove from heat. Cover and let steep
until room temperature. Transfer tea mixture
to an airtight container and chill overnight.
2. S
train tea mixture into pitcher; discard tea
leaves. Add lemonade concentrate, gin, and
club soda to pitcher; stir well to blend. Serve
over ice.
• 4 cups club soda, chilled
•
Ice cubes or crushed ice
{serves 12}
GARNISH O p tionS
• An edible nasturtium blossom
• A
thin lemon slice with the seeds removed.
Place lemon in glass upright rather than horizontally so it sticks out of the glass a bit but doesn’t prevent you from sipping your cocktail.
• A
thin orange slice with the seeds removed.
Because Earl Grey tea has the flavor of bergamot, orange slices really bring out the flavor in the tea.
“The tea should steep for 8-10 hours. We
made ours in the evening and let it sit
all night in the fridge.”
