LOVE OF LIFE
Marc Aurel is Contemporary Fashion: Fashionable, to
the point, individual, with a certain love for innovative
materials, an actual easy look and cool details. Strong
single pieces convince with everyday practicality and a
high fashion spirit.
We live in and with fashion. That´s our passion and our
emotion. We accompany our customer with several little
changings of the look throughout the day.
Nonchalance in our sense is a mix of noble materials,
inspiring silhouettes and fresh styles.
There´re different influences which inspires spring/summer collection 2016: Bazaar deluxe, Ethnic deluxe,
Hippie, Peace and Freedom.
Marrakech, Ibiza, Goa, morrocan carpets, vintage
leather samples and embroideries, indian wood
carvings, bead embellishments, old oriental pictures.
The variety of colours and products of Souks in addition
to artisanal items in general.
In summary, we found our inspirations in items that tell
stories to us, that take us on a mind trip and that let us
dream of other worlds.
What´s the task of fashion – in the sense of MARC
AUREL? It´s creating garments of a certain inspiration.
Garments, which debauch us to creating ourselves how
we´d like to be.
COLOURS
The collection is based on neutral colours: charcoal, lime, taupe, navy,
silver-grey, white, off white and cream. We create a colourful
impression with peach, rose and pink of different shades. After a neutral
coloured winter season, we work much more with colours for S/S –
however, we don´t leave the successful collection statement of the past
seasons.
All themes guide us into different colour impressions: nible, casual,
unique, wearable – with an individual, cool and sophisticated spirit.

A noble colour story made of
lime, charcoal and off-white
moves us into the world of bazars.
Ethnic motives are used as an abstract animal print with
bordure, embroideries and
fringe-elements. Tribal items have
a cool interpretation. Silky tops
will be combined with ethnic coats
and vintage jeans. It´s a noncolour story with high fashion
spirit and clear statement.
A gentle colour world of peach tones and shades of taupe.
Tie-dye technique inspired the main print with a snake-motive,
which connects perfectly all colours of the story. Artisanal ideas
will be transferred into noble jacquards and vintage-dyed
dobby fabrics. Even knitwear plays with trendy carpet
inspirations for a perfect combination with casual and formal
pants. Beautiful chiffon, embroideries and a dot of shine
convert the story into glamorous looks.
At last, there´s a great theme of
stripes with navy and off-white.
But for sure, created by the
new MARC AUREL spirit.
Stripes will be shown
differently: a jacquard for
jackets – a brush painted
stripe for blouses and t-shirts
– a knitted structure-jersey for
dresses and tops. Additionally,
there´re Mouliné-fabrics with
fringe aspects and tile-motives
– just HIPPIE BLUE.
1st collection will be finished by silver-grey and pale
pink tones. There´s a print in the style of tie-dye flowers,
which connects the story perfectly. The total statement
shows more clarity but leaves nothing to be desired.
Fashionable casualness is created by patchwork with
terry, beautiful weaving structures, which remind on old
carpets, understated foil coatings on wovens and real
leather. Everything is made for our customer, who let
herself be inspired by lovely and rare garments and
finally will fall in love for it.
PRINTS
&
STYLES
We bet on fancy tops, great jeans, easy going dresses
(short and long) and ethnic coats.
Important single pants are noble tapered pleat-pants,
flared casual pants, the shortened Culotte, casual pleated
pants and the noble jogging pant.
Of course, fabrics are important: they´re noble,
sophisticated – but still casual and cool. They should match
to each other for a perfect styling of outfits.
Regarding prints, we follow in general an ethnic inspiration
with a scandinavian spirit: “Ethnic goes Copenhagen”. The
mix is essential.
