NIAGARA Worldwide LLC will reclaim over 2 million board feet of 100
year old Hemlock. Each rough-sawn 2” x 6” (actual 1-7/8” x 5-1/2”) is
straight and true. In 1909 1,000’s of these boards were laid vertically
on their 1-7/8” edge and originally sandwiched together to form the
subfloor of the historic Newell Manufacturing facility in Manitowoc, WI.
The bottom edge is painted with non-lead based paint (testing data
available). The quality of this wood is very high and consistent.
