Summit Music Festival’s annual concerto competition offers
students a special challenge and an opportunity for public
recognition. The competition is open to all registered students
in the two week or three week program and who fully participate
in the festival. There are two divisions: Senior Division (age 16-35)
or Junior Division (under age 16). See website for additional

SCHOLARSHIP Program
Merit and need based financial aid is available for tuition assistance
and includes a WORK STUDY component. Recipients of scholarship
funds are required to fully participate in the festival and play
in at least one orchestra. Applicants are required to complete a
separate FINANCIAL AID application. For more information and
applications, please visit www.summitmusicfestival.org or contact us

INTRODUCING NEW BENEFIT for Students
For those students struggling to cover their program costs, Summit
Music Festival is implementing a new “self-fundraising” program
as another way to subsidize their expenses. The registration process
will include an online peer-to-peer fundraising component. Accepted
applicants will have the opportunity to create a personal page which
they can email to family and friends and ask for support to attend
Summit Music Festival. For every $2 raised by a student, Summit
Music Festival will credit the student’s expenses by $1. For example,
if a student raises $1,000, the student will receive $500 towards their
account and $500 goes to our general scholarship fund. This new
program will not only help more students attend, but also ensures
that Summit Music Festival will continue its mission for many
years to come. For more information about this program and how
it works, visit our website Donate page.
NEW Online Registration Process
Our new registration process will enable applicants to select the
appropriate programs and enter required information quickly. Each
applicant will be directed to the Summit Music Festival Application
Center to complete the application process. They will be provided
with a personal web page to upload their YouTube Audition videos
and a resume. Please feel free to contact us with any questions about
the application process at [email protected]. Additional
support and information will be posted on our website.
We would like to give special
thanks to our Master of
Ceremonies, Robert Sherman,
for supporting Summit Music
