Thinking about Astigarraga village, immediately comes to mind the cider, because
apart from being the capital of this drink made from fermented apple juice, it is also
the charming village where you will visit the Museum of the Cider. Once in the
museum, thanks to the guided tour we offer you, you will discover all secrets and
tradition that are hidden behind this drink. The visit includes also a cider tasting.
Another short trip, not only necessary but also obligatory is

thanks to a faithful XVI century Ironworks reconstruction.

In Oñati, was founded the first University of the Basque Country, Sancti Spiritus
and it is considered one of the most important building within the Renaissance in
the Basque Country.
However, there is a monument par excellence and it’s the Aranzazu Sanctuary,
which due to some events such as three fires, had to be rebuilt again.
And it’s no wonder that our most important artists were part of this exponent work.
Luis Laorga and Saez de Oteiza were the architects who carried out the project,
together with Jorge Oteiza and Chillida among others. So that you could discover
every corner of this work of art, this program includes a guided tour.
Arrikrutz Caves, was one of the first sites to be explored in potholing, archaeological and paleontological terms in the Basque
Country. The initial work led to the discovery
of paleontological remains such as a complete
skeleton of a cave lion. These caves also have a very strong mythological
