Since 1977, SICES Srl designs and manufactures Electronic Devices and Electric Control Panels for the management
of Gensets by any producer and brand.
Starting from the project up to the production and to the start-up of the plants, every process is performed by a
qualified and skilled staff thanks to the high technical experience.
With technologic pioneering, SICES started developing the first micro-processed Control Devices in the early ‘80s,
becoming one of the first players for the high standard in quality, reliability and innovation, both in the control and
management of gensets.
SICES is a partner of several high-level companies, supporting the customer from the project to the star-up of the
plant.
Since 2013, SICES Brasil is structured with
warehouses and offices, in order to offer
ready-for-delivery materials, with all the technical and
commercial support.
The main objective is serving all the South-American
market with a constant presence in the area.

Sices ATS panel is studied for mains/generator transfer switch applications which involves a genset usually equipped
with an automatic control panel.
The ATS panel comprises all the circuits, devices and controls enabling the switch between the mains and the genset,
in order to supply the load in case of mains failure.
The ATS panel is made with a steel sheet subjected to a painting treatment using high resistance epoxy powder and
the power circuit is safety separated from the control area in accordance to the main operation rules.
The protection degree with opened door is IP20. With closed door is IP55 or IP40 based on the type of carpentry used.

BASIC ATS PANEL
It’s an ATS panel (without any microprocessor controller) equipped with a
selector switch with 4 positions AUTOMATIC – 0 – MAINS – GENSET and 2
(two) lamps for optical signalling “Load supplied by the Mains” and “Load
supplied by the Genset”.
Fuses protections and terminal boards are available as well.
This type of ATS panel is usually combined to a local genset control panel able
to detect the Mains failure and to send a closure/opening signal to the BASIC
ATS panel.
LOGICA ATS PANEL
It’s an automatic and “smart” ATS panel equipped with microprocessor based
controller having a graphical display which allows to show voltages, frequency,
working hours and the battery voltage of the genset.
This type of ATS panel is able to automatically control the switch Mains/Genset
(it’s particularly used if combined with Caterpillar, FG Wilson gensets), sending
a signal to start/stop to the stand-by genset.
GENERAL INFO
SICES automatic control panels are equipped with microprocessor genset controller which allows an automatic
management of a single stand-by or prime mover genset.
All the circuits for the control and signalisation of the various status and alarms are built in a microprocessor based
controller mounted on the front of the panel which easily allows to check the mains and gensets parameters and
measures.
In case of mains failure, SICES AMF Control panel detects the voltage failure and it starts the stand-by genset. The
control panel controls the switch Mains/Genset connecting the load to the genset.
During the genset operation, the engine either the alternator are monitored by the microprocessor controller,
displaying any alarms with text message and stopping the genset, if needed.

Based on the type of the requirements, N.3 (three) types of AMF control panels are available:
DST2600 - AMF control panel for single gensets up to 110kVA
Power circuit available with:
 Couple of mechanical and electrical interlocked contactors (up to 125A) or
motorized changeover switch (160A).
 Automatic circuit breaker for the alternator protection.

Each EASYcontrol comprises as standard features:
 N.1 Microprocessor genset controller with ATS+AMF functions
 N.1 Feeder for preheating water engine 230V
 N.1 Automatic battery charger 5A 12Vdc or 24Vdc

 Automatic circuit breaker 4 poles for the alternator protection
 Changeover switch or couple of interlocked contactors 4 poles
 Automatic circuit breaker + Changeover switch or couple of interlocked contactors

Each AMF Control panel can be customized based on the Customer’s requirements.

Easy-Synchro
EASY-Synchro is an electric control panel in modular version aimed for the management of Generator Sets running in
Synchro/Parallel mode.
Just one panel to keep in stock able to fit for different type of power plants like: MPM - MSB - SPtM - MPtM.
This solution offers maximum flexibility matching different types of requirements:

EASY-Synchro is available with or without motorized circuit breaker. If required, the power circuit is composed by: N.1
automatic and motorized circuit breaker 4 poles, N.3 current transformers and copper bus bar properly sized

synchro/parallel.
Electric control panel in ISLAND VERSION for several gensets connected on the same bus and operating in synchro/

Based on the Customer’ spec, SICES provides the proper electric control panels able to manage each type of
requirements.
The internal engineering staff and the long term experience in gensets management, allow to provide a complete skill
and support for several type of plants.
Each synchro/parallel control panel includes the main engine and alternator protections and all the functions for the
synchronization and load sharing for paralleling operations among several gensets. In addition, including the Mains
protections and AVR regulation, SICES control panel scan be used for synchro/parallel application with the mains.
SICES is able to supply control panels for CHP stations including in one cabinet the control of the genset and the
thermic module.

It’s a software by means it’s possible to monitor, reset, and even program the controller from any remote place.
It is a configurable tool able to display the single line of the diagram. In addition, by means different password levels

Web based software for remote control of gensets using GPRS/GPS technology.
It’s particularly useful for rental gensets due to it’s possible to know and to be advised in case of events (alarm,
shut-down, change of status) or in case of the genset is moved from the set position.
That software allows to contemporary control many gensets displayed in one screen shot.
