Family Fun Night
Discovery Bay Country Club would like to introduce and invite you to our first Family Fun
Night on May 31st, 2012 from 4-7 pm. In an effort to promote the excitement of Junior Golf,
we will be hosting fun events for kids and families of Discovery Bay Country Club. Our first
event will be located both the Driving Range as well as the Golf Course using our recently
implemented Family Tees. These Tees are on the Back 9 and are set up between 80 - 125 yards
on each hole. These Tees are identified by Silver Tee Markers and can be used for beginning
golfers of all ages. Following our fun event on the course, participants will be invited upstairs
into the grill for complimentary Hot Dogs & Sodas. Due to space restraints on the golf course
as well as the restaurant this event will be available to the first 20 kids on a first come first
serve basis. Sign-ups are available on Foretees or by calling the golf shop. Each junior will
be allowed to bring two adults as participants in the event. If you are unable to attend our
first event due to space, your name will be placed on a list for first entry into the next event,
upcoming dates to be announced

We had terrific weather for our first Sunset Golf
event of the year. 36 players participated and had a
beautiful evening of Golf and Dinner. Winning the
first Sunset Golf event of the year in the Net Flight
was the randomly drawn pair of Bill & Linda Mayer
with Jack & Alice Disney. Taking first place honors in
the Gross Flight was the team of Ken & Joanne Smith
with Kurt & Jackie Miller. Closest to the Pin contests
were won by Hal Crose & Kay Gschwend. We would
like to congratulate all the winners and hope to see
more participants in May.
