Rigid Linear Motor Drives
Sodick's rigid linear motor drive system features a
direct-drive, vibration free mechanism which has
unrivaled acceleration and positioning accuracy with
no backlash. Its highly dynamic responsiveness,
stability for precision machining performance do not
diminish over time and will remain maintenancefree. Sodick's orginal "K-SMC" Motion Controller
also works to maximize the efficiency of the rigid
linear motor drive system.
Automatic Machining
Condition Selection
The user can easily define the cutting technology
by using the automatic machining condition search
menu. By selecting wire, size, workpiece material,
thickness, accuracy level and surface finish, the
control searches the technology library and selects
the best cutting parameters. The technology
database is pre-set and can easily be updated as new
technology becomes available.
Power Supply: LN Series
The ergonomically designed control panel enables
even inexperienced operators to easily handle a
variety of machining needs. The keyboard and
remote controller designed for the operators point
of view for improved operability. The large 15.1"
TFT-LCD touch screen eliminates glare and is easy to
view. The control panel is equipped with a tray so
operators can store small tools and items.
