Welcome to Public Information Meeting for the Northwest Parkway Environmental Impact Statement and Location Study MEETING PURPOSE The purpose of this public information meeting is to: – Present the updated Reasonable Alternatives for the Northwest Parkway – Present the impacts of the Reasonable Alternatives – Describe the design elements under evaluation – Describe the screening and evaluation process – Get your input MEETING STATIONS Station 1: Project Overview Station 2: Study History Station 3: Updated Reasonable Alternatives Station 4: Screening and Evaluation Station 5: Remaining Design Elements Station 6: Discussion, Input and Next Steps STATION #1: PROJECT OVERVIEW This station outlines basic background information, including the project’s purpose and the study process. PROJECT OVERVIEW The Northwest Parkway is a transportation project that is looking at creating an improved, more reliable connection between the residential areas of Northwest St. Louis County and the employment centers in the Earth City and Riverport areas. PROJECT OVERVIEW The Northwest Parkway project is an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and Location Study. The EIS will identify and analyze potential social and environmental impacts associated with the transportation improvements. The Location Study will evaluate possible alternatives and the impacts of those alternatives.
