A
room means hugely different things to different
people. Some are inhabited by a special feeling,
while you can sense a unique atmosphere in
others. The expression, ”it's in the walls”, is proof of this, just like
all the names that we give to rooms – bedroom, chamber, dining room,
playroom, studio, workroom, reception room, broom cupboard, state
room, living room…
We who work at Boråstapeter are constantly searching for that
special feeling or that expression which makes people feel at home
between four walls.
Here we open doors to new, classic and modern environments
to offer you inspiration and guidance in finding your way

Seven designers were given an assignment. To create a wallpaper inspired by
Carl von Linné's life's work, on the theme of passion! You can see the result in
the LINNÉ collection. It is in the shops now.

remains the most famous Swede of all time to this day,
promoter, philosopher and father of seven, might have

He is a man who loved flowers.
The Flower King, Carl von Linné, came to fame globally
after having established his plant classification system,
Systema Naturae. He was not without competition,
however. His principal opponent was called de Buffon,

His interest in ”nature's economy” certainly made him
a world expert in environmental issues. The Swedish
Astronaut Christer Fuglesang would have had seeds
to take with him into space. And Linné himself would
have been a hot favourite on the TV sofas – his curiosity
is noticeable not only in the scientific field, but also in
a French natural scientist. What did Linné think about
literature, culture and in interior design. But on Sundays,
him? He named the toad genus Bufo.

The area outside the hotel looks like Krakow – even
though I have never been there – grey and overcast.
Yet I know that the sun is shining in your room and
playing in your red hair.
Time stood still last night. When you kissed me farewell
in the dawn, I wanted to stop everything and simply lie
there with you in my arms.
Your perfume remains on my skin. Like a rose, without
thorns. In you beauty and charm are combined, as if in
a single large flower. On the flight here, I sat with a
huge smile on my lips. Imagine if we could go away
instead. Just the two of us…
I tried to concentrate on today's business meeting.
To listen to the speeches. To fix my gaze on the Power
Point images. But I saw only you... your sparkling eyes,
your wonderful body. I cannot stop thinking about you.
Nor do I wish to... you are a very special woman...
