OMBTT DEPOSITS DUE
Remember deposits are due 02/01 for the 2016
OMBTT season. For those waiting on tax refunds
please contact me at 614-496-5212 and we will hold
your spot. I have been seeing teams of old returning
and new ones signing up as well. We are also seeing
brisk activity on the website and Facebook page. I think
this is going to be a great year and with Lake Erie on
the schedule and the classic earlier this year I am expecting some great catches. Last years classic was so
pleasurable with low winds and much warmer conditions.
NEW KMTT TRAIL SPARKS INTEREST.
Knox Marine Tournament Trail (KMTT) is a 100.00 entry
trail with almost all entry’s being paid back at each
event. No classic and you may fish one or all of the
events. Go to the website at www.ombtt.com under the
KMTT option on the navigation bar for more info. The
AOY can take 600.00 cash or fish 2017 for free or have
their Entry/Classic Fund/and BB paid for OMBTT classic 10/20-21 at KY Lake.

It was a shootout at the last event with a few teams fighting it
out in some tough conditions to clinch the title. Angler Of The
Year is quite the accomplishment at OMBTT. Our competition
is as stiff as it gets in Ohio. I honestly believe that fishing with
these guys pushes you to be a better angler. I am also
amazed at how well everyone gets along in the circuit. All my
members make it a great experience for me to be your tournament director.
What do you get for AOY?
At OMBTT the AOY gets to fish the next year for almost free.
All 6 of your events are free except for the side pots and
Membership. We also pay the classic entry. That is a
1,400.00 value!!!!!!

VENOM LURES ON FOR 2016
Venom is back in a big way for 2016. Check out some of the
new tackle and weigh in bags. They have come out with a
new weigh in friendly durable bag for all of you anglers. It is
compliant with our rules so you may use it at all Events.

2015 OMBTT
CLASSIC KY
LAKE.
This year numbers for the
classic were down for
many reasons. Mostly
due to the choice of lakes
because of the Buckeye
Lake closing. Frankly I
picked poorly. We ask the
anglers in 2015 to give us
some guidance on what
lakes they would like added for 2016 and for 2017.
The results were Lake
Erie leading followed by a
close second Rocky Fork.
We have made the
changes and will be going
to Lake Erie in 2016 and I
will take us to Rocky Fork
in 2017 as long as we
can get a permit for April
or May. Also it was overwhelming the response
on moving the classic up
into October. We have
been plagued by bad
weather and brutal winds
for some time now. I am
happy to say the this last
years classic was calm
and warm. Another concern was the amount of
teams to be paid at the
classic. Most everyone
wanted to stick with paying 15 spots. It just goes
to show OMBTT may be
a little slow to react but
we listen to our members.
Also a big thanks to
Krieger Ford, Knox Marine and K&D Auto glass
for paying for the free
buffet at Moors Resort on
Kentucky Lake. Me and
all of my members appreciate you very much.
