Meeting before, we can assure you the 2011
event is one you won’t want to miss.
Western Newfoundland’s Marble Mountain
and Humber Valley regions provide visitors
with some of the most spectacular scenery
found any where in North America. Delegates
who attended our 2006 summer event in this
region are still talking about it.
Accommodations for the 2011 ABSDA
Summer Meeting are available at Marble
Mountain Resort, starting at $145 plus taxes
per night. Bookings can be made directly
through the ABSDA office
The program commences on Thursday evening, August 11th with a Meet & Greet reception
and meal. On Friday delegates can make the choice of golfing on Humber Valley’s
magnificent golf course or traveling to Gros Morne National Park for a majestic boat tour.
The area boasts an endless list of activities to keep guests of all ages busy. Besides world
class golf and fishing, the region offers hiking, sailing, swimming, beach, bonfires, cave
exploring and river boat cruises. For those who would like to have an adventure a bit on the
wild side, there is the popular Zip Line over Steady Brook Falls.
Over the last several years the ABSDA Summer Meeting has gained the reputation of being
an event the whole family can enjoy and this year is no exception. As in past, we will offer a
children’s program with many on-site activities.

Course. This course parallels the Humber River with
breathtaking scenery and challenging fairways. Power
carts and breakfast included.
Boat Tour
10:45 a.m. Gros Morne Bus and Boat Tour –
Travel by motor coach through the southern arm of Bonne
Bay, Woody Point and the Tablelands". The motor coach
will deliver delegates dockside for an incredible boat tour.
Lunch at Trout River’s Seaside Restaurant is included.
