BEFORE YOU ORDER YOUR 84 AFFORDABLE HOME PLANS, PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION
■ Your blueprint orders will be shipped to the 84 Lumber store closest to you, and our building
professionals will quickly help you with all of your building needs. If you do not know of the nearest
store location, please feel free to call us toll free: 1-800-359-8484 for assistance.
■ Their are six plans in a set. This allows you to have enough sets for you and your building
professionals. If more sets are needed for subcontractors, building inspectors or banking officials, a
maximum of four additional sets are available for $50 per set. These extra sets may be ordered at any
time within 90 days of your initial purchase.
■ Please make sure you include your foundation type with your order, along with method of
construction—2" x 4" or 2" x 6".
■ Reproducible vellums are available for those who need to make minor modifications or a large number of
blueprints.
■ True-reverse plans can be ordered for your Affordable home. This reverses the house, left to right,
and your blueprints will show correct lettering and dimensions. We recommend either a regular or
true-reverse set, but mixed sets are also available (4 regular and 2 true-reverse.)
■ Seals, energy certificates and audits are not needed in all states. Please talk to your local building
officials to determine if one or more of these is needed. For these orders please make sure the
county/state of the building site is listed on your order form. Additional information will be needed
for energy documents before your order will be shipped. This information pertains to type of wall
construction, siding, windows, doors and heating that will be used in your Affordable Home.
■ Your order will ship the same day if received by 10 a.m. Eastern Time. This allows for 10 working
days for regular delivery orders as well as the option of second day or overnight delivery.
■ Since our architects and engineers need to take some time to review the plans to be sealed, these
orders cannot be shipped on the same day that your order is placed.
■ Plans do not include electrical, plumbing or HVAC drawings.
■ Blueprints may be exchanged for another selection from this catalog. An exchange fee will apply.

MODIFICATIONS TO 84 AFFORDABLE HOME BLUEPRINTS
■ Some modifications can be made to our blueprints. To get a price on a modified set of plans, sketch
out your changes on a copy of the floor plan from this catalog and take them to your local 84 Lumber
associate. Check with your local building official to see if any special requirements apply.
■ Within 2 working days you will receive a price on a modified set of blueprints, including engineer
seals. The quote will include the cost of six sets of plans. Extra sets are available for $50 per set.
■ Mechanical schematics (electrical, plumbing and HVAC) are not included in modified plans. See your
local installer for these drawings.
