mbarcadero Center is brightening the holidays this year on
Friday, November 22nd, with the 27th Annual Building Lighting Ceremony. The ceremony will take place at the Holiday
Ice Rink at Embarcadero Center Presented by Hawaiian Airlines,
and will begin at 6:00 p.m. with live performances from Disney on
Ice presents – Rockin’ Ever After! Get ready to rock out with some
of the most magical idols of all as some of your favorite friends and
moments from Disney•Pixar’s BRAVE, Tangled, The Little Mermaid and
Beauty and the Beast come to life at Embarcadero Center! The event
will also include special pre-show performances and a spectacular
pyrotechnic show finale which will dazzle the City’s skyline. All this
exhilarating entertainment has been designed to complement the
highlight of the evening, the initial lighting of Embarcadero Center’s office towers, with a dramatic illumination of San Francisco’s
skyline, featuring 17,000 lights throughout the holiday season.

started in 1949 with a
few fire fighters fixing
broken bikes and has
evolved into the largest
Firefighter Toy
Program in the
U.S. In 2012 the
SFFD Toy program
received over
40,000 family applications with one to multiple
children, ranging in age from infants through 13
year olds.
Suggested donations for infants through young
teens include: balls, games, puzzles, dolls
(including dolls of color), books, backpacks,
hair items (brushes, combs, and care products),
wallets/coin purses and handbags. Gift cards
in the $10 to $20 range are accepted and
can be dropped off at the Boston Properties
Management office.
