Congratulations,
new Oblate Associates!
We offer our congratulations and best
wishes to Eleanor Rabnett and Erin Ryan,
two members of our community who recently committed to the Oblates of Mary
Immaculate - OMI Lacombe Canada as
Oblate Associates. This is a gift to our community, as well as to the Oblate family, and
we are blessed to have Erin and Eleanor in
our midst. Let us rejoice with them as they
joyfully answer this call of the Holy Spirit.

Our Financial Stewardship…COLLECTION for Oct 26, 2014 was $5,982
The work of our parish is supported through the generosity of our parish community. This includes the
spiritual life of our faith community, care for those who come to our doors and efforts to promote social
justice in our city, country and world. Like all budgets, our budget will be adjusted as necessary if we incur unforeseen expenses or receive additional funds or contributions of time, services or materials that reduce our costs or let us enhance our activities. We are grateful for every gift.
***Please be sure to write the amount of your donation on your envelope. It really helps.
** Envelopes are available in most pews for visitors who wish to use them.
News from around the Table…
The Supper Table
By Wednesday of this past week, we had gone

we greatly appreciate, since we ran out of bread on
Wednesday!)

meat and juice crystals.
Musings... I have been thinking about how grateful the people are at the Supper Table to YOU, the
community of St. Joe’s. Each night, at least one
guest always says, “Thank you, St. Joe`s!” We are
a community that responds, and it is good to reWe received our second cow on Thursday.

the farmers who help us with this.
Thank you, St. Joe`s, for your generous love.
We also received our first gift card donation
and we will be purchasing our industrial mixer in
the next two weeks.
Don`t Miss the Benefit Concert at St. Albans on

Saturday, Nov. 8, 9:30 am -12:30
pm at St Joe's, in the Hall. We
weave a refreshing mix of prayerful silence and small group discussion around a DVD presentation by Fr. Richard Rohr. In "Bias
from the Bottom," Rohr, using
Scripture, looks at God's selfrevelation to those on the bottom,
and how the Gospel is a clear call
to compassionate action. All seekers and those in need of rest are
welcome. There is no cost, but
freewill offerings are gratefully
accepted. For RSVPs or more
