OVERVIEW: Thank you for your interest in the WPGA Fairway & Greene Scottsdale
Pro-Am. We are proud to introduce our third fall destination pro-am to Scottsdale in
the past 6 years. Back by popular demand the event takes the trip back to one of the
best golf destinations in the United States. The four player trip brings together one
PGA professional and three amateurs to play in a competition on three of the best golf
courses in the state of Arizona. This year’s trip will also give players the opportunity to
make their own lodging accommodations. Helping support his year’s event is Fairway
& Greene / Summit Golf Brands. With their help we are excited to provide a great
package of welcome gifts for all the participants.

We will play the Stadium course at TPC Scottsdale on Monday,
Quintero Golf Club on Tuesday and Ak-Chin Southern Dunes on
Wednesday.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
 Monday, November 9th — Tee Times start at 8:40AM at
TPC Scottsdale. Players will be provided a box lunch during
play.
 Tuesday, November 10th — Tee Times start at 9:38 AM
at Quintero GC. Players will be provided a box lunch during
play.
 Wednesday November 11h — A Shotgun Start will be held
9:30 AM at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes. After play an awards
luncheon will conclude the event as players finish their final
round of play.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Each team will play one round at each of the three courses. Amateurs will receive 85% of their handicap for all three rounds.
Players will receive a maximum 24 handicap strokes per player
per round.




WPGA LIFE MEMBERS
WPGA Life Members may participate in the Scottsdale Pro-am on
a team as an “amateur”. The Professional must have a WSGA
handicap and will receive 85% of their handicap. Any member
playing on a team as such will receive the same prizes awarded to
the other amateurs on the team and pay the applicable amateur
entry fee.
LODGING
This year’s Pro-Am will not offer a lodging option through the
WPGA. Player’s will make their own arrangements.
TOURNAMENT YARDAGE
All players will play the standard set of tees (yardages below) unless
they meet the requirements below, then they may opt to play an
intermediate set of tees.
Any senior amateur (55 and older) with a handicap index of 5.0
or higher or any amateur with a handicap index 15.0 or above will
have the option to play an intermediate set of tees instead of the
standard tees for the event. Players MUST COMMIT to play the
intermediate yardage for the ENTIRE EVENT. Players may only
change which tees they want to play up until one week in advance
of the 1st round. Professionals will be contacted in early October
to determine if any of their players will use this option. PLEASE
KEEP IN MIND that players that play the intermediate tees could
receive between 2 to 4 less handicap strokes compared to the
standard set of tees. USGA Handicap Manual (3-5).

We will attempt to use the following yardages as a maximum when
setting up the Standard Tees.
Par 3’s – 210 Yards
Par 4’s— 430 Yards
Par 5’s— 550 Yards
TEAMS & HANDICAPS
Each team will consist of one WPGA or WAGPA member and
three amateurs. Amateurs must have USGA handicaps.
Amateurs with handicaps at more than one facility must use their
lowest handicap. Handicap indexes to be used will be your current
USGA index on 10/15/2015. The WPGA reserves the right to
modify handicap indexes, based on score history for the entire
2015 golf season and past history in other WPGA events.
Please note the WPGA staff will have a handicap reduction formula
in place and it may result in reductions for players during the event.

Based on the feedback from our prior Scottsdale trips we will be accepting tee time requests for Monday & Tuesday.
We will do our best to accommodate the requests. Please check below if you’d like to make a request.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations before or on September 1st will be assessed a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations on or after September 2nd will forfeit
their deposit regardless of their withdrawal date. Any Cancellation after September 25th will be responsible for entire team trip price unless
a replacement team is found. If a team withdraws after the initial deposit deadline the WPGA reserves the right to replace the team at any
point.
HOW TO ENTER
Mail completed entry and a $1,025 deposit check to the Wisconsin PGA. Deposit deadline is September 1st, 2015 or the first 18 teams.
Remaining Balance - Entry Fees: Players must pay their entry fee in full by September 25th. Players may pay by check or credit card. Credit
cards will accepted but an additional $30 fee will be added on to cover processing fees. Players may pay via credit card by calling
