s with all IQs, SIMs, and Ultimate Series controllers, the IQ 20 is
a 100% distributed intelligent access control system,
incorporated with an inherent “Upgrade Bus”. This 2-door controller
features 100% Distributed Intelligence, meaning that there is no
degradation in security level, even when the host is “offline”. All
pertinent data to make necessary security decisions for one full year is
provided on the IQ Series controller, including holidays, automatic
card expirations, Two Person Minimum Occupancy Rule (TPMOR),
Dynamic Input Linking, and Daylight Savings control. The IQ Series
is the industry’s most advanced controller.

The IQ 20 Series offers a complete set of security features to meet
or exceed any security application. Features for high security
government, airports, medical centers, financial institutions, and
learning institutions are just some of its standard capabilities.
T High Security Applications
The IQ Series incorporates high security applications with features that
exceed the most demanding security requirements such as: Two Person
Minimum Occupancy Rule (TPMOR), Dynamic Input Linking, User
Programmable Language (UPL), and the industry’s first “5-State Alarm
Monitoring”. With TPMOR, requirements for R&D, banking, and the
government “Two Man Rule” are easily met. With UPL, dynamic
input/output linking can provide easy solutions for a 2 or 3 door
mantrap. Utilizing its onboard A/D processor (Analog-to-Digital) and
DSP (Digital Signal Processing), the IQ 20 provides the most
sophisticated alarm monitoring system in the industry. Its capabilities
are so advanced that the 5 state monitoring circuits will detect an
impending alarm failure before any false alarm can be generated.

you to upgrade to higher capacity CPUs in the PCSC controller
family. The “Plug and Play” methodology assures the ability to

series controller, an upgrade to IQ 20 can be accomplished with a
simple controller upgrade!
