Students utilize IPads, IPods and Apple TV to
bring their learning to life. In Mrs. Christina
Chapa’s Pre-Algebra classroom, students
work on a focus quiz to get the lesson started. Students are quickly streaming through
various outlets in order to get ahead in class.
Well done!

“Share the Warmth Falcon Winter” Drive was is a Success
Ac2E Student Council organized “Share the Warmth Winter” drive to help needy families of our
community. Everyone came together and collected coats, sweaters, scarves, mittens, caps and
quilts for over 20 families. Miss Diana Cantu was the sponsor for this event. The families were
the true winners this season. Special thanks to all who participated in this grand event.
PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Student Leadership Fellowship
December and January were swift
and fierce. Our students displayed a
wonderful side of them that
benefitted all in our community.
They came together and organized
two caring drives to help our needy
families.
Can food drive in
December and a Winter drive in
January. I am so proud of these
students and all they represent.
Congratulations to them and their
parents. Let’s continue to create
great memories in the months to
come.
Thank you,
Mrs. Gina Gonzalez
Principal Ac2E Middle School
The Rising Leaders Fellowship is a diverse, national coalition of more than 100 student leaders working to expand
educational opportunity on campuses and in communities. Over 12 months, each fellow designs and leads a
high-impact project, builds a team among their peers,
collaborates with a local mentor, and attends a national
training forum, the Rising Leaders Summit—all while
drawing energy and inspiration from a national network of
fellows and fellowship alumni.
The Rising Leaders Fellowship focuses on three leadership tools that prepare fellows for short and long-term
impact—a story, a network, and a plan.
Three of our Ac2E students participate in this event.
They are Jaylyn Trevino, Ytznel Frausto and Rocio Flores. These ladies have given their Saturdays to participate in this summit that will only enhance their skills as
leaders. Mrs. Christina Chapa, 7th grade Math/PreAlgebra teacher is sponsoring these fine young ladies in
this endeavor.
