Dear Parishioners, family and friends who love St. Sharbel dearly,
My second year with you has started and it has been my privilege to serve the Lord and
serve you with a joyful heart. I give you good news the number of our community is growing
but the expenses are growing as well and we need to share this with you as we all know that
our home Church need to be maintained on a daily basis and here I present to you please to
take ownership and belong and feel home and have a great zeal and love for God

and your house.
It has been an interesting year of getting the occupancy permit and equipping the Hall and
the kitchen which is still in progress to accommodate family gatherings and starting again the
occupancy permit and major renovation & the birth of the first phase of the Church to achieve
a lot with a little.
We have achieved a lot in the life of the Church and Community, families are together, they
can’t wait to be here, they don’t want to leave the Church after Mass, weekly we have new
people joining us, new Masses & Choirs & readers, new parish council, new council of 50
members of Knights of Columbus, new prayer groups, perpetual Adoration. We have new
system for school and catechism, updated website and network and we have a new finance
committee, and lots of activities for the youths and families. We need your help now to start
the second phase of the completion of the Church, the additional entrance and bell tower.
To enable us to do that, I present to you the monthly expense and what will take to run your
home, your Church and your property. I urge you to read it carefully and to submit your
monthly pledge or envelop so we can cover our monthly expenses and mortgage.

We urge young and adults and every working member in the family to give (AT LEAST 1 – 2
or 3 $ A DAY) which is monthly $30, $60 or $100, consider that this Church is MY CHURCH,
MY HOME, MY BUSINESS to take ownership again and give generously because we have a
monthly short fall of about $6500. Our solution is that if you can increase your pledge and
become an ambassador and bring another pledge to be able to cover our monthly expenses
and utility bills.
Please understand I didn’t come here to be a maintenance or building priest, a plumber and
electrician etc…to worry about finance and bills, I came here to take care of the families, the
youth, the sacraments and the spiritual need of each one of you which is so sacred and have
the top priority in my priestly life. I ask you to help me stop worrying about this monthly
expense. So help me to help you maintain what you have achieved and built ST. SHARBEL
CHURCH. “Out of God’s gift we make gifts to God.” Saint Augustine.
