Applying For Economic Citizenship
In order to apply for Economic Citizenship,
eligible applicants must submit the
following documentation, along with
the applicable fees6, to the St. Kitts
Government’s
Citizenship-by-Investment
Unit: a completed original Application and
an executed Vacation For Life Contract for
Purchase.
Each
applicant
must
complete
an
Application, which can be obtained from:
1. any Authorized Person,
2.the Citizenship-by-Investment Unit.
For the list of Authorized Persons, please
visit the Citizenship-by-Investment Unit’s
website at www.ciu.gov.kn.
The Citizenship-by-Investment Unit aims
to process applications within ninety (90)
days. Once the Certificate of Registration
for Citizenship has been granted, the
applicant must then apply to the Ministry
of National Security and Immigration to
obtain a Passport. The Ministry generally
processes Passports within approximately
10 working days.7
Required Documents
Please find below a list of all documents that must accompany a completed Application.8
Documents Required from Each Applicant, Including
Children
1.Photograph and Signature Certificate (Form
C2), completed by a Notary Public.
2. Medical Certificate (Form C3), including original
results of HIV test no older than three (3)
months, completed by a licensed Medical
Practitioner.
3.Certified copy of your current passport(s)
showing name, citizenship/nationality, date and
place of issue, issuing country, passport number, expiry date and photo.
4.Certified copy of your current national identity card(s).
5. Six (6) original passport-size photos of yourself
taken within the past six (6) months. One photo
must be certified and attached to Form C2.
6.Two (2) original certified copies of full birth
certificate.
7. Original police certificate(s) from your country
of citizenship and from any country where
you have lived more than one (1) year within
the past ten (10) years. Police certificates must
be less than six (6) months old at the time of
your application.
8. Certified copy of military records (if applicable).
9.Certified copy of proof of name change (if
applicable, i.e. statutory declaration, adoption
papers, etc.).
10.Any other document in support of statements
made in Application, as required by
the Citizenship-by-Investment Unit.
Additional Documents Required from the Primary
Applicant Alone
1.Original bank reference letter issued by an
internationally recognized bank. Bank reference
letter must not be more than six (6) months old.
2.Original professional reference (e.g. attorney,
chartered accountant, notary public, or other
professional of similar standing). Professional
reference letter must not be more than six (6)
months old.
3.Original document of evidence of residential
address (e.g. certified copy of a recent utility
bill or bank statement showing full name and
address, or written confirmation from a bank,
attorney, notary public or chartered accountant).

1.Two (2) original certified copies of marriage
certificate(s).
2.Certified copy of divorce document(s) (if
applicable).
Applicable Fees
After the application has been processed, the Citizenship-by-Investment Unit will notify your authorized
person of the application status and whether it has been approved in principle or denied. If you have been
approved in principle, proof of the investment will be required. In addition to proof of the investment,
the applicable Registration Fees and the fee for each Certificate of Citizenship Registration must be sent
to the Citizenship-by-Investment Unit payable to the Accountant General.
