Ober Gatlinburg is a year-round mountain of

breathtaking journey aboard the Aerial Tramway,
providing spectacular views of Gatlinburg and

Take a thrilling ride on the 1800’ Alpine Slide or
venture to the pinnacle of Mt. Harrison on the
South’s longest Chairlift. Visit the American Black
Bears, River Otters, Birds of Prey, Bobcats, and
other animals native to the Smokies in our
Wildlife Encounter. Race against the clock and
your friends in the Amaze ‘N Maze, twist through
the winding 600 foot Blue Cyclone Rapids water
raft ride, play a round of Mini Golf, and enjoy
gliding around our Indoor Ice Rink. This summer
we will add a Mountain Coaster, a thrilling,
year-round attraction designed for all ages.

Ober Restaurant and The Loft Lounge at Ober

tranquil up-hill ride through the beautiful Ober Gatlinburg woods before being whisked down nearly 4,000 ft
of adrenaline pumping turns, dips, zigs, zags, and G-force
action adventure.
The ultimate family experience, the Mountain Coaster is
great for any age. Children, parents, and grandparents
can comfortably enjoy the ride and choose their own
pace down the mountain. Enjoy the high-speed adventure hugging every turn and dip as you zoom down the
mountain at speeds up to 25 mph, or choose a more
relaxed pace suitable to your enjoyment level.
Designed for comfort, our Mountain Coaster carts
provide a more secure and comfortable ride with room
for multiple riders, higher back rests, and shorter brake
levers for easier handling and control. Whatever your

No trip to the Smokies is complete without seeing Black Bears
and other Smoky Mountain wildlife! Ober Gatlinburg’s Wildlife
Encounter provides a safe and comfortable home for native
animals that are unable to survive in the wild. Here you can
visit our Black Bears, Bobcats, see our night-time critters in
the Nocturnal House and get eye-to-eye with our playful River
Otters! Educational and entertaining, the Wildlife Encounter is

Dry Track Simulated Bob Sled Ride
Enjoy a scenic chairlift ride up the mountain, and
then sled downhill on one of two 1800’ tracks
through the woods and ski trails. You can control
your own speed with a braking device on each
sled. Curves, straight-aways and hairpin turns
await!
Scenic Chairlift
Best View of the Smokies Without Hiking
The South’s longest chairlift ride offers one of the
best views of the Great Smoky Mountains. The 15
minute ride to the pinnacle of Mt. Harrison affords
many spectacular photo opportunities. There is
also a live Bluegrass Band at the top of the chairlift
May through November.

Amaze ‘n Maze
With its twists, turns, and dead-ends, the maze is
more than just getting lost! Sharpen your navigational skills, while competing against your friends
and the clock for fun and prizes.
Water Raft Rides
Get a good grip on the handles of your air inflated
raft as you plummet down the Blue Cyclone Rapids!
Race through 600 feet of water as you reach speeds
in excess of 30 mph and pull 2.9 Gs as you twist and
turn. Two more 40 foot vertical drop water slides
also await you. Even after all the twists, turns, and
splashes you still walk away mostly dry.
Kiddie Land
A “just-my-size” place for young ones to explore!
Attractions include swinging bridges, a web crawl,
chutes and ladders, the Rio Grande Train, cars, and
much more!

Closer Than You Think
We are easily accessible via major interstates
I-40, I-81, and I-75. Take exit 407 or exit 435
off of I-40 to Gatlinburg, the gateway to the
Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
When you get here, go to 1001 Parkway to
ride the Aerial Tramway to the top of the
Mountain, or turn onto Ski Mountain Rd at
Traffic Light 10 and drive the 3.1 miles to the
top.
