CASI is very privileged to network across the nation with
many reputable adoption agencies across the United States to
expand the visibility of our adoptive parents, and hopefully
shorten your time on the wait list.
PARENT ELIGIBILITY
• Singles and couples must be 25 years of age.
• Couples are in a committed relationship for two years.
• Parents must complete a home study evaluation.
• One parent must be a US Citizen
ESTIMATED WAIT TIME
Birthparents select the adoptive family; time on the wait list
will vary. There is no set timeframe associated with this
program. There are estimated wait times based on the
ethnicity and gender preferences of the families.
Families who are open to both ethnicity and gender generally
have shorter wait times.
OPEN VS. CLOSED ADOPTIONS
Each family must decide on what is right for them, as does the
birthparents. History has taught us that a semi-open adoption
works well for all parties. This includes pictures and letters
exchanged for the first two years through the agency. This
allows a comfortable adjustment period for both adoptive and
birthparents.

HUMANITAIN EFFORTS
HOW YOUR DONATIONS HELP
CHINA
Corrective Medical Surgeries for Disabled Orphans
60% of the thousands of orphans who reside in China are disabled. Their disabilities are
mental and/or physical and range from mild to severe. However, many of the physical
disabilities can be corrected with surgery. The average surgery costs $1,000 USD. Each
surgery gives a child a chance for a normal life, improves their chances of being adopted, and
has saved lives.
Our Medical Sponsorship program collects specified donations of any size. Contact our office at
1-800-376-0558 or [email protected] for contribution information.
Educational Sponsorships
A donation of any size to will help provide an education to a Chinese orphan.
CASI’s Family Style Orphanage
The CASI Home’s unique design promotes family-style living and social development. Every
building has apartments housing 6-7 orphans and a “momma.” Additionally, the medical
center on site not only assists with the care of the resident orphans but also disabled within the
local community.
HAITI
Donations received for the orphans of Haiti support several avenues of our
humanitarian efforts including
~ Improvement to the orphanages.
~ Provide educational opportunities.
~ Supply much needed food and nourishment.
~ Enhance the medical care available to the children.
~ Increase the number of Special Needs Facilities.
