Permission has been granted by the Barn Hunt Association, LLC for the
holding of these barn hunt trials under BHA Rules and Regulations.
Four Trials offered - earn a title in one weekend!!
Open to all Breeds and Mixed Breeds of all sizes!
Classes offered each day:
Instinct (Trial 1 Only each day), Novice, Open, Senior, Master
There will be a short lunch break at the judges’ discretion. Trial 2 will follow
Trial 1. Moveups will be possible.
8AM start time both days, 2nd trial will start shortly after the first is completed

Pre entries close Sept 21st. Entries will be accepted until the limits are
reached. Each trial is limited to 120 runs. Entries received after Sept 21st
will be charged the day of rate.
Entry fees are $10 for Instinct, $20 for Novice and Open, $22 for Senior and Master
There will be an additional $5 fee for late and day of entries.
Dogs may enter both the Instinct and Novice class in the same trial until
the dog has earned the RATN title and then they cannot enter the Instinct.
Move ups will be permitted and must be requested by the handler prior to
the start of a second trial. All dogs entering must have a Barn Hunt number.

All dogs must be on a short leash and under control while on trial grounds
except while showing. Per BHA rules no flexi leads are permitted. Dogs
must be a minimum of 6 months of age to participate.

Hotels/Motels that will accept dogs. Owners must assume full responsibility.
Early reservations are recommended. As rules may change, please check
with hotels before registering. BHA rules & common courtesy: you are
responsible for picking up after your dogs at the motels & the show
site.

the event site.

RUNNING ORDER:
Dogs will be run in height order with dogs being handled by the same person
separated into different staged groups.
AWARDS: Ribbons will be awarded for all qualifiers in the regular classes
and the Instinct test. Rosettes will be awarded for first through fourth place in
Novice through Master. Rosettes will be presented for high in class. Ratch ribbons
and awards offered.
Please bring weather appropriate gear. These trials will be held indoors and
outdoors. Vehicle crating is requested due to space constraints. Ample room
is available for canopy shades. Please let Claremont Canine Sports Club know
of any special needs. Food will be available for purchase around lunchtime.
Bitches in season are eligible for entry but will be required to be kept
separate from all other dogs and will be run at the end of their
class/trial.
If bringing a bitch in season, please inform the trial secretary prior to the trial
and inform all exhibitors at the judge’s briefing.
Refunds and Cancellation: Requests for refunds can be made with the Trial
Secretary before the closing date. Every attempt will be made to hold the
event as schedlued, refunds will be offered if something should occur
making cancellation unavoidable.

I (we) acknowledge that if this application for the entry of this dog is made available to me (us) for participation in a Barn Hunt event, that I (we) agree that this facility has the right to refuse the entry of this
dog and/or they reserve the right to dismiss the dog and myself for cause which Barn Hunt deems to be
sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this and the opportunity to train my dog(s), I (we) agree to

hold Barn Hunt Association, LLC, _____________________________________________,
and all associates
harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly
to any person or thing by the act of this dog or dogs while in or upon the premises or grounds or near any
entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for such claim, and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for damage or injury to the dog or
myself, either physically or mentally, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury, be caused
or alleged to be caused by negligence while in or upon the premises of the Barn Hunt grounds. The terms
of this agreement bind the parties for the current period of training, and all subsequent classes/training/
events in which they hereafter participate.
