of Las Amigas, Inc. has been
involved in a variety of community project with and is
offering additional events
during March.
On Feb. 1 the organization
held a raffle to support its
scholarship fund and other
service projects of the community. Winners of the Las
Amigas raffle include Martha
Flemings, Jo Pyatt and Nathan Johnson.
The Mooresville Chapter

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Lake Norman High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she
earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a
minor in American studies. She is currently employed as a library assistant at the Mooresville
Public Library.
The future groom graduated in 2003 from
Asheboro High School and in 2007 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and a minor in
American studies. He is presently employed as an
educational programmer at Historic Oak View in
Raleigh.
A May 2008 wedding is planned.
