every day for 30 days, you’d have $5,368,709.12. The power of the penny really adds up! We wanted to share a few stories with you about

Worth Every Penny
Erin’s house provides a time tested service that helps children,
families, and communities successfully work through the
grieving process. By donating to Erin’s House, services are
able to remain at no cost to individuals using the support
programs. If we can guide others to Erin’s House, we reduce
many of the adverse psychological impacts which can remain
with the person throughout the lifespan, which is something
I see individuals struggle with on the university campus.

What would you say
to someone that gives
money to Erin’s House?
I would tell them thank you for giving all the money for the
building and the activities we do. It’s truly helping a lot of
people, including me. I understand what it is to lose a loved
one, I know how hard it is for my mom and I and we are
definitely getting better through Erin’s House.

Dear Friends,
In a word, 2013 was a MONUMENTAL year at Erin’s House
for Grieving Children. We were able to see our founders’
dream of providing a “home-like setting” for grieving
children and their families become a reality. For the first
time in our 21+ year history, Erin’s House not only offers the
children’s grief support services of a wonderful team of
volunteers and staff but also a warm and welcoming home
for our kids and their families.
Yet just as no child at Erin’s House grieves alone, we did
not accomplish this monumental task alone. More than
250 individual donors, corporations and foundations
supported our capital campaign, over 1,000 donors
supported our programs and services, and countless
community champions encouraged us throughout the year.
Significant accomplishments during 2013 included:
★ Completed construction and moved into the first
stand-alone facility in the state of Indiana dedicated
to providing peer support for grieving children
