Our Short History. . .
During the winter of 1991, a small group of 17 people met in a home
for Bible study. This body of believers had a desire to be a ‘spiritual
hospital’ for those who were hurting and a burden to ‘win the lost to
Christ.’ It was on April 14th that the group held its first official church
service in the April Lane School’s assembly room. The congregation
had slow, but steady growth as it moved 5 times in 5 years. Putting
their faith into action, the 110 members purchased the YMCA building
in August, 1997 with the vision of filling the 20,000 square foot facility
in the heart of downtown Yuba City.
.
The church reaches out to anyone with a need whether its physical or
spiritual. They provide emergency food for the hungry, clothes for the
needy and even sleeping bags and tents for the homeless. Joshua
House Men’s Center was founded to help men with their additions and
Samaritan Village Orphanage was established to help abandoned
children in Arusha, Tanzania, Africa. Today Crossroads has become
one of the largest ministries in the Yuba/Sutter area and has had a
positive impact on the entire region.
.
Who We Are. . .
Crossroads Community Church is a non-denominational body of
Christian believers who meet regularly to worship and praise the Lord.
We boldly proclaim the Bible as the Word of God. We reach our
hands in fellowship to every believer, knowing that every born again
Christian is a member of the family of God.
.
What We Believe. . .
We believe in one God; Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

MEDITATION:
“I will exalt you, God the King. I will praise your name forever and ever. Every day I will praise you and
extol your name name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one
can fathom. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of you mighty acts.”
The Children of God, our special needs class meets
Sundays at 1:30 PM in the God’s Squad Room.

LOVE
TALK
Psalms 145:1-4
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, died for our sins with
the shedding of His blood on the cross, was buried and raised on the
third day according to the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and
sits at the right hand of God the Father. He will come again to judge the
living and the dead. Those in Christ will spend eternity with Him in Heaven. The lost will receive everlasting punishment in hell. We affirm
that the Lord Jesus Christ is Head of the Church which consists of all
those, who by grace through faith, have repented of their sins and believe in Him.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of
God.
