INDAS started up it’s activity as a gauze dressing and cotton wool
manufacturer
We change from a gauze and dressing manufacturer into a fluff
products coverter: baby diapers, sanitary towels and pantyliners
INDAS becomes the first Spanish manufacturer getting
incontinence products into the reimbursement, and starts
production of incontinence pads. And our factory starts growing
and changing
INDAS replaced their complete incontinence machinery in 15
months time without any downtime (€ 23 Million CAPEX)
Total surface: 121.000 m2
Acquisitión of the 100% equity by Vista Desarrollo SCR (73%),
PE company of the Santander Group, and Portobello (21,8%)
New logistic plattform: 13 docks and picking area.

Since INDAS was founded, the Group has always been
committed with the sanitary sector, with patients,
relatives, care givers, … With this commitment, the
company created the institute INDAS an ethical entity
which main target is to work to improve the quality of life
of people with incontinence in Spain.

CORPORATE RESPONSABILITY
Since 1997 when INDAS launched the Waste Management System,
under the ISO 14001 certification ( by AENOR) on environmental
management and quality system, the hard work of everybody is
nowadays very successful.
Today the company recycles 85% of waste generated.
