Druids Glen Resort consists of two golf courses, driving range, walking/jogging trails, and a first class hotel and leisure centre.
Druids Glen is created around the historic Woodstock Demesne, whose estate house is home to the golf club which housed the “Irish Open”
in 1996 and 1999; the second course, Druids Heath, being headquartered from the hotel and leisure centre where facilities are top rate.
To complement the hotel, a fine development of luxury town houses and apartments beside two linked manmade lakes was the logical
precursor to develop a select number of executive detached luxury residences each on large plots, between the Druids Glen and Druids
Heath courses.
Not to mention, of course, other fine championship
golf courses within easy radius at Greystones, Delgany,
Powerscourt and Woodbrook complementing local courses
at Glen of the Down, Charlesland, Glen Mill, and Kilcoole!
History:
In the late 2000’s; the resort entered a joint venture with
McInerneys who sadly after over 100 years’ building
ceased trading when their bankers no longer supported
their credit line; a handful of homes were built and
occupied – now the resort holding company, Candarli,
has taken back control of the scheme thus affording a
few discerning buyers the opportunity to create homes
reflecting their own flair and imagination.
