The bathing area spreads out on a total space of approximately
4.400 m2. The large indoor pool (435 m2) comprises a nonswimmer area with a water depth of 1.20 meters and a swimming area that is 1.80 meters deep. Neck spray jets, massage
nozzles and water massage recliners, as well as a whirlpool
with special light impressions ensure additional well-being.
On a total of 3.000 m2, the Thermalbad Aukammtal offers a
generously laid out and fascinating sauna with four indoor and
three outdoor saunas each with a unique ambience and design.
A whirlpool with a lightstudded ceiling overhead adds invigorating enjoyment. Refreshment between sauna baths is provided
at the wading pool, an ice fountain and special cold showers.
Guests may take part in daily water gymnastic courses. The 450 m2
large outdoor pool with depths of 1.20 to 1.35 meters is equipped with water massage recliners. Both pools are connected by
a swim-through channel.

Tip: Family-Sauna!
In the 80 m2 large activity pool with a water depth of 0.90 to
1.20 meters guests may enjoy special health courses such as
Aqua Workout with pool noodles and Aqua Back Strengthening.
More information will be announced on poster boards next to
the entrance or with special info flyers. We will also be happy
to inform you personally.
Composition of the Thermal Spring Water
In thermal baths, the temperature and mineral composition of
the water play a big role.
Warm thermal water is relaxing and eases pain, while alternating hot and cold baths stimulate circulation as well as the
nervous and immune systems.

The “Aqua-Saunabar“ has a wide choice of refreshing beverages
and snacks on offer.
Every first Saturday of the month children accompanied by
adults are admitted to the sauna section.
Saunas are ideal for reenergizing. Alternating between the
beneficial heat in the sauna and a subsequent cooling off
period strengthens the body‘s immune system and circulation.
The body‘s metabolism comes up to full speed. The sauna stay
improves skin texture and cleanses the body.
Sauna History
Taking steam baths in specially designed rooms has a history
that goes back thousands of years. The Romans and Greeks
knew and made use of the therapeutic effects of sweating.
Today, we understand taking a sauna to mean doing it the way
the Finns do, namely in a wooden hut using a high temperature
and low humidity.

Guest arriving between 6 a.m. and 7.30 a.m. will only pay EUR 6.50 instead of the regular EUR 10.00 for the entire stay even beyond 7.30 a.m.

You have to leave the sauna and bathing area 30 minutes prior to

The Thermal bath Aukammtal will be opened as usual on public
holidays with the exception of Christmas Eve (24th December),
Christmas Day (25th December). Special opening hours on New
Year`s Eve and New Year`s Day.

Children under the age of 2 have to wear a swim-diaper.

For hygienic reasons guests are asked to enter the sauna area without bathing clothes. Please take along at least one large bath towel.
The fee charged at the time of entrance is valid entrance fee.
By paying the entrance fee visitors agree to follow the rules of
the bathing facility.
